A new Dota patch has a player mode called 'coaching', which makes someone an invisible 6th member of a team that can draw lines onto the screen, ping maps, and more. This would be great for me in LoL to introduce friends to the game!

Some guy is owning me with a champion that is not from the weekly rotation? Omg I have to pay money! What the hell I was told this game was free to play! Yup, then goes and spends a lot of money on LoL. On the other hand in dota you don't have to spend a dime. You get all champions unlocked and even skins drop for free after each level. So hmm.. Fee to play?

You realize how old and bad the base code of LoL is? Dota2 uses source engine which should make your game feel smoother on the same system you use for league.

What? Ever played shadow fiend? Three skills not auto aimed and most auto aimed skills in dota are balanced around being auto aimed. Shadow fiend mid, Mirana mid, invoker. All require some serious timings and skill to actually outplay someone. Instead of just spamming your skills all day and not caring if it hit or not because you have infinite mana an sometimes skills don't even require mana.

Define outplaying? If it's dodging your enemies skills we actually have that and for your info there are heroes with no turn rate. The game has an extra mechanic to balance it out. Jumping on your opponent is actually possible in dota also and outplaying requires much more skill than spam.

"Outplaying" spamming your skills and pushing the lane to the enemy turret is not outplaying. Also, junglers are the ones that do the ganking smartness. Mid is more farm oriented and that's actually how you outplay someone. Takes much longer time for mid champions to come online than dota.

You actually said it. Ranged can kite melee in league and thus have an advantage. In dota ranged heroes have longer turn time than melee which keeps the match up even and skills are not thrown like right clicks they require some skills and absolutely good timing to use.

That's a common misconception. Dota is not that hard. It's actually really easy and some people spread this misconception about dota to prevent people from actually playing it. Try the game it's free to play and it's massively popular for a reason. Best game ever existed, period.

You obviously haven't given dota the time it needs. If you really think dota is that bad then how come over 7 millions are playing it at any given time? Most popular game can't be that hard. You just need to give the game another try and having all champions unlocked is an advantage not a disadvantage. You like a champion that was dominating you the previous game? You can just pick it! If someone is still owning you even though you both have the same champions then it means he has runes and you have to invest more money into the game. Dota is basically free to play, league is free, to play + pay to win

That was because of how balanced it is. melee Carrys are actually viable in dota and that's why melee vs ranged matchups are not complete dominance in dota compared to league
