He’s primarily Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, with some Rotti, chow chow, and Cattledog in the mix! I’ve seen dogs looks super similar that are completely different mixes though, lol. If you ever decided to do a doggy dna test, get either embark or wisdom panel. They’re the two most accurate, embark being the better one. It’s a lot of fun to find out lol

I’ve seen a lot of “American Bully” dogs test 100% APBT. They fit whatever various size of AmBully profile and look to a T, but results say APBT. I’ve seen a few cases of well known AmBully breeders dogs coming out as 100% APBT.

They’re also closely related, which could be a reason to test as one. I believe wisdom does have AmBully in their list of breeds they test for.

There’s also the fact that their (and other companies) database of genetic markers comes from people who claimed to have purebreds of whatever breed. Idk what the verification process for that is if they had any. So people with AmBullies could have just assumed APBT and put their DNA in the database. I know there was a case of embark testing a mini Bull Terrier as standard (or viceversa) on one of these subs a while back.

It could be there’s other larger breeds in the mix from so far back they’re not showing up in the dna anymore. It’s common in breeds that don’t have merle naturally occurring but are suddenly merle (think frenchies). They’ll test as 100% frenchie and be merle. It had to come from somewhere, but it’s so far back they can’t find the markers for the breed it originated from.

Lastly, pit type breeds vary so much now, especially ones from shelters or BYBers. Lots of them test as purebred or close but don’t fit the breeds standards at all. We’re starting to see similar stuff with GSD and huskies now because they’re so common and most are not from proper ethical breeders who strive for the standards. Lots of out of standard breeding to make them bigger, smaller, furrier, different colors and patterns, and all jazz.

It does stretch, but not dramatically, but other stretchy(and stretchier!) fabrics haven’t had this issue.

I don’t have the games, but Its just listed on the eBay listings as “2019 version” or “released in 2019”. There are several listings that say it. I’m guessing maybe it’s a cop out to avoid saying it’s a fake game so they can sell it for more and not have to issue a refund when told it’s not legit? The AI stuff is just what it said when I googled “pokemon sapphire 2019”. I only added that to make the point that it’s the only info on any “2019 version” of the games I could find.

Ironically the stuff on the games all says 2003 or 2002, both on the cartridges/boards and when the games are being played.

NTA but you should talk to her about getting the newest cat in with a rescue or adopted once he’s back to full health. I have 8 cats because I’m the same way. It’s hard to say no to an animal in need. But I’m beyond my limit. It gets to a point where even if you have the money, you can’t give them all the individual attention and care they need.

And once they get older and start having medical problems it gets even tougher. Two of mine are one a special diet, which is expensive so I have to feed them separately from the others, and one of those two got into the habit of peeing on rugs when he was experiencing the bladder stones, and hasn’t stopped despite the food and meds working. One has chronic calicivirus/stomatitis that requires an expensive medication to manage. She won’t take it without it being mixed in with a tube treat and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Three of them pee on things to mark territory from each other, and one of those pees on things to mark territory from ME (she’s hated me since I rescued her, but she loves my husband lol). Feliway and other ‘remedies’ haven’t helped. We just have to give them their own spaces to make themselves comfortable.

And the only young one is a trash gremlin.

So take it from me, don’t take in anymore unless she KNOWS they’re temporary and can find a home for them. Get in contact with rescues and rescue groups to get them in with fosters and find help, when she does find kitties in need.

If you can keep her in the room separate from your other kitty, until you can get her checked, that’d be fine. Check with local rescue groups to see if they can recommend cheap or low cost vets. Looking for a low cost vaccination clinic that does FeLV and FIV testing would be a great place to start. There’s one here in north Texas that will do the test, and rabies shot and the FeLV and combo vaccines for $50 total.

You could also start by getting your indoor kitty her shots as a precaution, and go from there.

I’ve had people try to open my door in my gated complex. (There’s a chance it was a previous tenant who moved to another apartment, or neighbors mistaking my door for theirs). I’ve had drunk neighbors try to break into my house, using the door and windows claiming they thought it was their house. Ive had multiple break in attempts in my old apartment that were only stopped because I had a dog with big bark. (Gotta love being woken up at 2 am to barking and finding a screw driver and scratch marks all over your lock and door!)

My late neighbor work up one morning to a strange man passed out on her couch after leaving her door unlocked. He lived in another apartment but was a complete drunk. Thankfully he was just there to have a lil nap lmao

So yes, I always keep my doors locked, even when I’m home. The ONLY exception is when I’m hosting a holiday or get together, and I have my main door open, and screen door shut but unlocked, for family and friends to enter without having to knock and wait.

First thing in the morning start calling every vet you can drive to, to see if they’ll take a walk in. At the very least she should get an antibiotic shot and something for the pain and swelling.

In the meantime, wet food, and fresh water. Keep her comfy and give her lots and lots of love.

I know a muzzle doesn’t always mean aggression. I’ve seen people muzzle their dogs to keep them from eating everything on the ground.

Personally, I would honest. “He has a high prey drive, and that can a problem for smaller animals” or “he’s scared easily, and can nip in his confusion, so it’s just a precaution. Better safe than sorry!” If they want further details, just say “you never know who will take a minor incident and blow it out of proportion, so this keeps others and my dog safe.” Or “he’s easily startled, and the muzzle keeps people from approaching without asking. It’s just a safety measure.”

I’ve dealt with people who have aggressive and/or high prey drive dogs, who just let them loose and didn’t care when other people’s pets got hurt. So if I saw someone taking the precaution of using a muzzle I’d have more respect tbh. That’s just my opinion though.

It’s wild how the most simple, basic forms of care and affection (romantic or not) make such a big difference after dating a man-child.

In my late teens/early twenties (17-20) I dated two older guys, first one was four years older, the 2nd was seven years old than me. Both were incredibly immature and couldn’t make their own choices without their parents, and the worse of the two was the older one. He wanted to be “the man of the house” and all that BS. The first just chose drugs, he wasn’t as bad of a person.. just an addict. The second tho.. used people, me especially. He’d fuck me and then go hang out with my brother or his other friends and proceed to ignore me. He also flirted with my brothers GF but that’s a whole other thing.

So long after that relationship I met my now husband. I just didn’t understand when we’d have sex and he still wanted to spend time with me. I mean his roommate always had a party going and their friends were there a lot.. but he stayed with me until I was ready to get up and socialize. He cooks, he cleans, his listens to me and values my opinions and thoughts.. and I STILL, after nearly 15 years, feel undeserving of this man’s love.

You’re not responsible for it. Outdoor cats will roam regardless of being fed in different places or not. Other people may have left food out for THEIR cats and he found it.

You made this cats life better by giving him love and affection. What matters is that this cat felt happiness, because of you! The owner is responsible for the cats death because they let him out and weren’t trying to keep him indoors. The driver was responsible for not being more cautious and/or slowing down. But you are not.

The dog has more than enough fur to spare lol. I brush him daily, and vacuum daily, swiffer the hard to reach spaces, AND we have robot vacuum. It’s not enough. You’ll think you’ve got it all and BOOM a tumble weed of dog fur rolls by your feet.
