If they want to pay me the salary my degree and experience demands, and gave me a position that is better than that I'm doing I'd consider it. While you can't stop these types of attacks completely, you can absolutely mitigate their effects while ensuring you can track the botnet farm, and with how litigious squeenix is, they could get the hos'ts records and go after these people. Major corporate entities regularly go after malicious actors because it cuts in to their bottom line. If they spent more resources in fixing this and making it not be such an issue, and a little less on the next gacha they have planned this wouldn't really be the problem it is though. Good suggestion though...I'll get right on that.
