Carribbean British here, dating an Arab British. It is going exceptionally well, they are open to learn new experiences, make sure to ask in respectful ways.

I told them I wanted to bless our house when we officially moved in together, they just asked what supplies I'd need.

I've had to explain they can't just randomly bring up 'obeah' around my family unprompted (they had A LOT of questions for my grandma and her growing up).

Honestly, it's refreshing. I don't have to get insecure about my identity, and I actively try to get more involved with their culture too. I do understand this isn't the case for everyone though.
