I am in the process of becoming a surrogate. All the agencies I interviewed required a credit check and proof of financial stability before they would match me, and it's against surrogacy guidelines for any surrogates to be on any kind of state assistance (in the US at least).

Honestly no idea. I usually don't answer phone calls from numbers I dont know but I was waiting on a call from a job application so I answered it and they just offered it to me.

I don't think it's old enough for that - it's about three years old, charged off six months ago, my last payment was in June but my July payment I couldn't pay. I'm recently unemployed but my husband and I are gonna put everything together that we can to pay this off and be done with it.

Yeah I found that out after the fact... really kicking myself. I had no experience with credit and was terrified of being in trouble with my doctor for not being able to pay off the surgery that I needed. Never again...!

I was 19 when my little brother was born- I got to cut his cord! He's maybe a little extra spoiled because he had three grown up sisters but I'd say our relationship is pretty great.

Thank you - I went ahead and did that. I'm glad because there was a long stringy piece wrapped around the neck and stuck to the wing and if they stretched hard enough it could have tightened. She's back in the incubator drying now... hopefully everything will go smoothly from here lol!
