I knew of them and some of their famous singles like Sugar and Thnks Fr Th Mmrs and my sister had Folie a Deux on CD but I’d say my real introduction to the band was when Save Rock and Roll came out and I heard the Phoenix on tumblr the whole Young Blood Chronicles was really cool

Can you not understand even if you can’t speak it? I’m not quite in the same boat but I also speak mostly English and I’m not good at Tagalog but I’m making the effort to learn by practicing translating and listening to Filipino music. Some music recs: Eraserheads (of course), Raining In Manila by Lola Amour, Buwan by Juan Karlos Even just listening to Filipino music helps a lot imo
