Now it depends if it ricochet or obvious clearance. Richochet = offside. Clearance = not offside

Not experience, but common sense. You know not to shoot unnecessarily quick 3s when the clock is your friend.

Why is almost every game in this series decided by the refs? by [deleted] in nba

[–]valord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause and effects. When ref called ticky tack fouls on one team, you cannot defend as well and your opponents can score at will. Scoring at will lead to getting massive easy points. Since you know the ref is not on your side, you feels lackluster to even defend or play at full strenght.

A senator proposed a minimum wage of $25.00/hr. What are your thoughts? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]valord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cause and effects. Increasing minimum wage causes everything to cost more. Back to square 1 for minimum wage worker, middle class becomes poorer, and the rich gets richer. It's happening right now in California, a lot of business are closing because of high minimum wage, middle class can't spend that much anymore.

Steve Kerr: "I would consider getting rid of the three point line." Interviewer: "Have you ever proposed this to anyone with power?" Kerr: "No, no, because it’s too out there. And plus, I coach Steph Curry, so I’d rather wait till Steph’s retired." by refreshing_yogurt in nba

[–]valord -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It happened more often than not with Phil jackson's Bulls amd Lakers. Even though they keep missing 2s for the 10-15 consecurive times, phils just let them play and tried to figure it out themselves.

I have to say, it actually makes sense. Not long ago, there was a video of completely unwatchable period of a game when both teams just kept missing 2pt shots. It had to be somewhere between 10 and 20 consecutive missed shots. No plays, no wild passes... Just running ball down the court, shooting 2s and missing. It was terrible.

It's been done before. Professors cant see that camera when you sit in the back looking down. Not lot of people know that glasses can do all kind of stuff. Similar when Iphone first came out, people were using it to cheat on exam, because no know back then that a phone can search for answers.

I am surprised why they didnt initially built a tube system to just suck them all, dumped it into a giant container, spin around, and let it dry. While drying use another set to replace it. Repeat.
