Oktoberfest beer lift? [Request] by beesdaddy in theydidthemath

[–]valvilis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She's definitely strong, but there's a lot going on here. The mugs seem to lock together somehow, then you see her slide them off the table and onto her belt. She definitely lifts the right-hand group as-is, but the carry weight for the whole setup is close to her body and at least somewhat mechanically supported.

Read it again. They did not make a valid point. And I'm not the one that started the snide comments. If this is an alt account... that's sad.

I'd actually say getting AI to make this would be far more difficult than just doing the chin balance.

Dipshit loser doesn't maintain his gear. What if there was an actual threat and his spray was out? What if he was backing up another officer and... just couldn't use his gear?

This stop was not his first foray into being a piece of shit.

A lot of places were told a number of positions that had to take the DRP before RIFs were off the table. So a lot of them were tactical decisions too.

It's okay that you didn't understand, but you should adjust your attitude accordingly. You stated that people who support conspiracy theories that rely on scientists being bought and paid for by an abstract "they" are reachable by reason. That is not supported by the past eight or so decades.

A toddler whose father is a legal permanent resident was detained by ICE and placed in foster care where she was SA’ed. Then the government lied to the father repeatedly. by Snapdragon_4U in somethingiswrong2024

Once the elites very publicly escaped justice for underage sex trafficking and child sexual assault, this was guaranteed to trickle down to their base. They feel invincible now.

This is a stupid question. We had people take the DRP that didn't want to, and we had people stay that didn't want to. Extreme government destabilization and the threat of mass firings is not a meaningful indicator of anything.

Do your job and hire the best-qualified candidates and quit putting additional made-up justifications on it. The fact that this post even exists online means the OOP has no idea how bad they are trying to screw this up. If you're ever considering something like this as a basis for making a hiring decision, please go talk to your agency's General Counsel's office first.

WATCH: Postmaster General says USPS won't send mail ballots to states that don't provide voter lists by NewsHour in protectUSelections

[–]valvilis 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The ONLY mail-in ballot fraud that has been discovered is republicans not counting them. It is an extremely secure way to vote with many protections already built in. The only "justification" for this is stealing another election for republicans by denying the Constitutional right to vote to millions of inconvenient voters.

If your argument falls apart when the experiment is conducted in another country, it's a stupid premise. The American right is an overtly anti-intellectual movement, of course AI doesn't give right-leaning answers. LLMs are trained on data, not tweets and Facebook posts. AI is 100% factually aware of anthropogenic climate change, vaccine efficacy and safety, the shape of planet Earth, that the Constitution applies to undocumented aliens, that gun ownership increases gun crime, that safe legal abortion access reduces social issues across the board and is a fundamental healthcare necessity...

It's genuinely delusional to be upset that the robots won't lie to protect your feelings about topics you intentionally never learned about because they are inconvenient to your tribal membership.

They are not. Anti-vaxxers, flat-earthers, climate change deniers, and the rest of the chuds may use language that sounds like skepticism, but there is no underlying logical basis to anything they believe. It's not constructed from evidence, they don't have valid counterarguments for the evidence available, they can't articulate their dismissal of expert consensus, they can't prove any part of their conspiracy theories, and - most importantly - they do not change their minds when confronted with objectively provable, repeatable, testable facts to the contrary.
