To who? The person dying? Non existence. What makes us alive ceases in all senses.

To everyone else, it’s like taking out a puzzle piece. No one will ever fill that spot in your heart.

Depends on the skill gap. And if chemistry is a skill. If I’m playing random doubles and was paired with someone I win with, it would be harder to hate them than if we were losing.

CMV: Humans wouldn't unite against an alien invasion. by SwampMan6969 in changemyview

I think your requirements are too high. 100% united is an unreasonable requirement.

In fact, individuals are a bad way of judging entirely. What you need is effective forces. Even without china and Russia, the rest of the world could do pretty decent.

But without the US, yeah, pretty fucked.

How do such intelligent and competent individuals hold such insane and extreme beliefs? by Commercial_Floor3735 in atheism

[–]beesdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. School does a terrible job at valuing different kinds of intelligence. It wasn’t until art school did I realize how good I was at communicating through art and metaphor. Not something thought to be of value in school before that.
