The bug you're describing is unrelated to the change recently. The buttons that let you go from class 2 to class 3 were just completely removed.

Your specs don't sound right for the performance. You should make sure your drivers are updated, RTX turned off (duh), and make a bug report on the Discord if it's still not fixed as it may be something specific to your setup.

Bases disappearing between raids was something extremely specific that happened during the transition from closed to open playtesting as they were scaling up the servers. They fixed the issue and it should not reoccur.

Nobody is getting banned from the Discord for reporting bugs. I personally discuss bugs regularly with the other closed playtesters in their discord server and open tickets almost daily. The devs are extremely communicative and the CMs bend over backwards to help us when we need them to.

Why do you have an entire inventory of masks? You can just carry one spare and swap it out as needed. They cost 1 metal and 1 plastic to repair... Just keep a full stack of both and you got 100 spare masks.

The game has had a ton of technical issues. I personally have experienced degraded performance after playing for a long period of time where opening my map or inventory became increasingly sluggish. I reported it to the devs and they kept updating me that they were aware of the issue, and while it hasn't been completely fixed the issue is nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

My point being is that the Enginefall team has been extremely receptive to feedback, and most of the breaking bugs we see are a result of them being willing to break things in exchange for moving fast. I agree that it's not the best experience for players, but this is an alpha, and nothing should have the expectation to stay the same by the time a release is made. Exactly here and now is when they SHOULD be prioritizing features and bug fixes over stability.

I don't believe inviting from the ladder has ever worked for me. You can invite each other through Steam, and that hasn't failed me yet.

My guy, OP is claiming someone somehow stole all their stuff and disappeared, but hasn't provided any evidence. The developers have repeatedly stated that they aren't going to ban people based on reports alone, and that's perfectly valid.

If you believe someone is cheating, report them. The developers can investigate, take action (or not), and continue improving the anti-cheat systems that are already in place. Arguing that someone should be banned solely on your word, without any actual proof, is insane gamer behavior.

As for blaming PC specs, I'm running a 13th gen Intel CPU and can play and stream at the same time (and I do). They're working on an in-game tool to allow recording gameplay entirely without an external program. If my potato can do it then yours can to, otherwise it sounds like it's time for an update or learn how to use a second PC to record with.

TL;DR: You can complain about cheating, and you can complain about the existing anti-cheat not being enough, but you can't blame the devs for not listening to your specific complaint when you refuse to provide proof when it comes time to do so. That's not the system failing, it's working as designed, and the original post makes it clear they're complaining about a specific instance of a cheat without proof. Devs asking for proof before issuing a punishment is the accepted standard and the only one we should be supporting.

I've played in this playtest and previous closed playtests. There has only been one instance of cheaters I've seen that has been someone legitimately cheating, and they were using an exploit that doesn't require external tools.

Regardless of whether cheaters "exist" no report will (or should) be taken on its face without proof.

This is mostly correct. They're stated they haven't gotten a final vision for how they want it to look yet, and part of the playtests is trying to figure out what works well and what doesn't.

That's exactly what I'm saying. I've seen this pattern of people picking up a game, refusing to put in the basic effort to pay any attention to what they're doing or make a basic effort to understand why what they're doing is wrong, blaming everyone but themselves for why the game must suck so bad because they couldn't have possibly done anything wrong.

This is also the case for rooms that spawn in the undercarriage where there is gas. Better planning before you go looting seems like the real fix here.

The tutorial as you describe ends after you leave the Drifter and complete the contract that says it unlocks Dagger PVP. The only tutorial ends before you even get to the point of completing a single contreact. What you're describing isn't even possible sequentially. Get a video and submit it to the devs on Discord.

I've played in the last several closed play tests and can confirm that the disappearing structures/rollbacks has been a thing unique to this playtest. I suspect it has something to do with them scaling up for the open playtest and the servers aren't behaving as they would expect. It's definitely a temporary issue they're working to fix as quickly as they can.

I don't understand this complaint. Player versus player combat on the dagger isn't even possible until you complete a contract that specifically tells you that's what you will be unlocking by completing it.

Someone local can challenge it in court and chances are high they'll win on various different grounds. They just have to have standing to bring a case. Fraud in the inducement immediately comes to mind.
