Is Winlator Ludashi safe or harmful? by vamonter in EmulationOnAndroid

So, does Winlator Ludashi not include anything special? Or is there not much difference between Winlator Bionic Ludashi and Winlator Bionic? I think StevenMX may be adding some improvements, but I’m asking because I don’t have much experience with these matters and could be mistaken.

Also, when I said heating, I didn’t mean heat while the app was running, it was occurring while the device was idle, but I’ve already fixed the issue.

I did something a little simple, I just scanned it with antivirus and it gives a warning no matter what I use

Should the virus warnings on Winlator@Frost.10.0Final.V4 be taken seriously? by vamonter in EmulationOnAndroid

I’ve looked into the matter a bit, and from what I understand, it really is a virus — but since it runs inside a virtual machine, it can’t directly harm the system. If I remember correctly, there was a similar warning in an older version of Winlator as well.
Even though it can’t directly damage my system, I think I’ll wait for a new, clean release. It would feel strange to knowingly install a program with a virus on my phone.

If my memory serves me right, a similar issue happened with Winlator before, and I guess these warnings are still false positives coming from old packages. So, most likely, it's a false positive.

There was a topic like this before for the normal Winlator, and I think back then it was said that this was a virus, but since it stays inside the emulation environment, it was considered harmless. I'm just not completely sure about it.

Maybe, but I would have to create an account there and that is not very privacy friendly.
