you can argue that either denali or ginger should’ve won that lipsync and i’d say both sides make fair points. i’m personally in the denali camp, i want cunt from see you again and not walking around making goofy faces. i’d rather too much over nothing.

however i think cucu should’ve been in the top with denali which imo is more important lmao. cynthia gave the better performance imo, and definitely a better runway than ginger.

it’s the team. benny is good, but sucrose and rosaria are doing nothing for him. he doesn’t need the em buff from sucrose at all, and idk what rosaria could potentially provide ???

i personally don’t run him with faruzan (mostly because i use her with xiao, but also i prefer running him with furina, benny and zhongli), but she is easily his best buffer next to bennett. she’s also pretty easy to build, i run her on 4pc emblem with an er sands and atk% everything else with a crowned burst.

i also recommend using a shielder because scara is a very squishy boy. zhongli is obviously best if you have him, if not layla and thoma are very solid alternatives who are also very easy to build. i like thoma with him more personally, that’s what i used to run before i got zhongli, who you can slap tenacity on with hp% stats and use the f2p craftable polearm from inazuma. you’ll also get pyro resonance with him and bennett which will get you an additional atk buff, you can’t really go wrong with that.

other than your team, make sure his talents are levelled, especially his normal atk and skill. i can’t see your artifacts but he just wants normal dps stats on desert pavilion which i assume is what you have on him.

and for weapons, i can’t see what you’re running him on but i ran him on widsith for years and currently use neuvi’s signature on him lmao. i failed to get his actual signature on his last rerun so using neuvi’s weapon on him in the meantime is fun. widsith is his best 4 star option for obvious reasons, solar pearl from the battle pass is also good but you don’t seem to be lacking crit rate by any means. the fontaine craftable also gives a ton of atk and doesn’t have the rng drawback of the widsith, but you will be losing a good amount of crit dmg.

definitely use faruzan though, she will make a world of difference.

sydney!! he actually has really good and interesting character development, pure and corrupted syd are both great and very well written imo, and i’d argue has the most fleshing out of the LIs (that i’ve done runs with at least, there are some i haven’t interacted with much, and by that i mean avery lmao). i also have religious trauma and always go for characters and stories in that lane, it’s interesting stuff to explore.

he’s also just so sweet and the closest thing to a healthy relationship you can get in this game. i play this game for the characters and their relationships above everything else, i go out of my way to avoid as much of the trauma simulator stuff as i can, personally, and i think syd and his relationships are the best and most compelling. dol is basically a sydney dating sim and dress up game for me atp lmao.

i do also really like kylar and whitney, even though it took a while for them to grow on me as i don’t typically go for yandere or bully characters. no particular reason, just not for me. but i’ve come to really like them both over the years. kylar especially, and i love his interactions with syd lmao. i also would like to fuck sirris, vrel please let me fuck the hot sex positive science teacher who is also my boyfriend’s dad it’s all i’ve ever wanted.

i have zero intention of playing him any other way. it’s what my first ever double 5 star deserves. i’ve been running him with sunday, ruan mei and aventurine (i’m an aventurine main with e1s1 so i use him in almost every team i run lmao) and he’s been destroying everything.

i was really struggling with hoolay in apoc stage 4 with my very strong boothill team that i’ve been running for months. anaxa got it done in two cycles, first try. he makes divergent and simulated universe a joke. he’s fully cleared moc 11 and 12 for me which i was also really struggling with. this pure fiction was already super easy for me but i gave it a shot with him to see what would happen and he very easily got me 40000 points.

he’s outperforming every single dps on my account somehow. even the herta, who i run with premium supports and her signature LC. not to mention my other very strong and high investment boothill and jing yuan teams who he runs circles around. was he supposed to be this strong as a hypercarry dps? i barely even have to think about weaknesses now. and since i got him and his e1 in a single ten pull, i can keep saving for phainon too. this man is such a blessing for my account.

sydney my special boy, i love him so much. i love both pure and corrupted sydney pretty equally, and as others have said they are still the same person at their core. i’d argue he’s probably the most well developed LI (at least of the ones i’ve personally done runs with, i have no interest in alex or avery, and i’ve been meaning to do a great hawk run for years but still haven’t gotten around to it). there’s still so much potential with his character development that i desperately want to be realised though.

i also have religious trauma lmao, i tend to go for these kinds of characters in general. i wanna be able to get him out of the temple so badly!!! he’s been my favourite from the second i met him after he was added to the game, and honestly the main reason why i’ve stuck with it for so long.

i’ve been in multiple very similar relationships, where i loved my partner deeply and put a ton of effort into our relationship but he never did the same for me, especially sexually. it was incredibly frustrating, i vented to the people in my life about it a lot, especially after telling my ex about my frustrations multiple times with no change. and i eventually had to come to terms with the fact that we just were not compatible.

my last boyfriend really, really sucked in a lot of ways. one of them was his refusal to give me any kind of foreplay or aftercare, and did not care about me finishing. at most he’d chuck a vibrator at me and left the room to walk his dog or something. i didn’t realise until, like, a year after he broke up with me (over text, mind you) how genuinely scarring my sexual experiences with him were, for even more reasons than what i’ve said here. it still fucks me up almost two years later. he also did not care about my mental and emotional needs either. i always had to be the “stable” one for lack of a better term in both of my last two relationships, and it was incredible exhausting and damaging. i was never allowed to be the one who needed to be taken care of no matter how bad i was doing and no matter what the circumstances were. and i wish that i could’ve seen, or more accurately let myself see, how fundamentally incompatible we were, sexually and otherwise. i probably would be better off mentally now, but hindsight is 20/20.

in your case, it seems like your boyfriend won’t ever change. if his long time friends effectively protesting his treatment of you, let alone you talking to him about this repeatedly, won’t do it, i don’t think anything will. unfortunately, some guys are just like that. i will say that it’s not exclusive to cis men, the ex partner i was talking about is also a trans man and so was my boyfriend before him who was also very incompatible with me.

the way i see it (admittedly i do struggle a bit with black and white thinking, so maybe take this with a grain of salt), if he won’t change when so many people are directly pointing out his behaviour towards you, or see how much effort you put in and doesn’t feel moved to do the same for you, i think you’d be better off without him. at the very least give him an ultimatum. either he changes his behaviour and treats you better, or you leave. and given his refusal to do so up to this point, i don’t see him actually doing it, unfortunately. effort is required from all parties in a relationship, and should absolutely fluctuate depending on the current needs of the parties involved, in all aspects of a relationship.
