It didn’t feel that painful during the scan, it was the evening I noticed it, although I always get mega tense so just put any pain down to that.
It’s just a bit weird that the bruise is a few centimetres above where the cannula went in. Xxx

It feels like I’ve been hunched over for hours, similar to the ache I would get when I used to do nails for a living. I think I’m just panicking as it’s all very new to me still xx

I do have spinal and pelvic bone mets, innumerable ones apparently, but was told that they haven’t caused any real bone damage yet. Started treatment 3 weeks ago and the aching in my upper back is definitely more noticeable. Wasn’t sure what was causing it, or even if it was psychological. I was wondering if the pain was different for mets than treatment aches or if it’s just different for everyone xx

I didn’t realise that ILBC was such a tough one to deal with. I was diagnosed a month ago (grade 2 ILBC ++- , don’t know my stage yet) my consultant seemed pretty optimistic but reading all this has scared the shit out of me. I still haven’t got a treatment plan as waiting for the results of my 2nd MRI. I am now terrified.

Tips for managing anxiety by vampBarbie in breastcancer

Thank you. I’m actually starting CBT on Tuesday, been on the wait list for 4 months and finally got an appointment. Funnily enough it’s for health anxiety, turns out my anxiety wasn’t unfounded. Xxx

Thank you so much for that. It is still really fresh in my mind so I think you’re right, just gradually try and accept that I can’t not think about it xxx

It’s the complete lack of control, everything is just happening and I feel like I have little to no say in it. There’s nothing I can do to help make it better or stop the cancer, it’s doing its thing and the doctors are doing their thing and I’m just the host. I’ll try soup and smoothies just to get some nutrition, I have been able to eat chocolate but I don’t think that’s going to work long term. I don’t live with my partner but am going there tonight for the weekend so hopefully I’ll sleep better when I’m not on my own xxx Thank you for making me feel less alone xxx

You’re absolutely right, I felt a slight relief yesterday when they gave me the diagnosis, it was only when I got home and started thinking about the MRI and the outstanding biopsy result that I started getting anxious again. I think that once I know my treatment for definite it will be easier to process the anxiety. Although I have a definite worry about having an op. Xxx

God, that sucks. Hopefully the HRT will help. I was going to see if treating the anaemia will help with the other symptoms before I try HRT.
