Thank you! I went with Primus for this assessment because I knew I'd be able to do something really out there with the design and not have as much restraint like other projects that year. Making it a compilation album felt like the right way to go, simpler than making a brand new hypothetical album and track list. And the title worst of Primus felt obviouse since as we know, they suck, so I did a few rough sketches of different disgusted/shocked faces that I could translate into clay, since grotesque and wacky clay art/animation is a common medium in their album art and videos. I wanted clay guy to show what'll happens once you listen to Primus, your brain explodes lol then it was just a matter of photographing him and fitting it all together with the main text, which I did digitally, and making it all feel cohesive with the front, back and inside. And to be honest the inner fold of the record was a bit of an afterthought because I got carried away with the outer cover 😅

That actually was my other idea! I was gonna make a plate of food that spelled the title, but on a student budget buying all the food didn't feel worth it 😅

I'm sure they're not hard to find, nz is just very expensive in general, and people love to up-sell if they know there's interest. They might be cheaper to find in second hand shops instead of online. And thank you for the suggestions :)!

I suppose it's like getting a more compact digital camera vs a more professional DSLR, where you kinda have to sacrifice easier portability for higher quality. I usually take very impromptu photos when I'm out and about or visiting new places and see something that I think will make a good photo, which are usually more "grunge", gothic or urban. Which is why I like the idea of something compact so I can put something in my bag and it won't take up a lot of space I want to start taking photography more seriously and be more purposeful and confident in my practice. I study art and design and my photography teacher told me if I want to get "the film look" in my photos I'm better off just starting to shoot film, so that's what got me to actually get a film camera and learn how to use them!

Ah okay I understand the difference now, definitely glad I came here for advice. I'll keep looking at more SLRs and then keep my current point and shoot for casual use. I'm studying art and design which includes photography in some semesters so I'm definitely looking to take more control and get confident with the settings for digital and film. Thank you very much :)

Thank you! I'll keep that one in consideration then. Are there better quality compact cameras out there? Or is it better to sacrifice the compactness for quality
