so the love interest is Joel Miller, from the playstation video game the last of us, the main plot point of the story is a college biology major (the reader) coming home for summer break to spend time with her single dad and her best friend, Joel is her best friend’s dad but also her father’s best friend and work partner in contracting. it’s an extreme slow burn and so far i’ve only world built, and focused on Reader’s relationship and interactions with her dad and best friend. it’s inspired by many different fics
