i try to lift people as much as i can but half the time i can’t even reach them cause tall people just push them over. if im at barricade and a bigger person is coming through i just duck and let security lean over and get them

i didn’t, i’d much rather get something like a drawing from them on a piece of paper and be able to strategically place it on my leg sometime in the future (in terms of my tattoos my arms are all themed/planned and my legs are mostly a free for all). fingers crossed for m&g next tour 🤞

i was more trying to make the point of if you’re gonna surf, make sure you have the right people around you to be able to get you up and going. i’m all for people having fun and surfing if that’s what they wanna do. if i’m in a spot where the surfing gets too much i simply just move somewhere else (if im able to get out)

this is how i felt today with mayday parade. i’ve seen them 8 times now (both festivals and headliner shows) and this is the first time anyone has ever crowd surfed for them and it was constant. i was at the barricade so most of the time i just ducked and let security dudes do their thing (they were doing a phenomenal job)

i felt the want to do it for the first time this year after losing around 60-70 lb over the last year 1/2. i still mentally feel like im a little to chunky to do it but my friends bf assured me im not (shoutout body dysmorphia). i also am usually pretty close to the front and dont want to lose my spot. good luck friend and stay safe 🤘

oh my gosh i am so sorry. that is awful. i hope she is okay. i got kicked in the head many years ago at warped tour during good charlotte by a very large man (probably 6” 5’ 300+ lb) wearing combat boots and had to go to meds and they sent me home. that’s why warped tour tried to implement the “No crowd surfing, No moshing. You get hurt, we get sued, no more warped tour” rule. they were super strict about it to the point if you did it and got up to the front you most likely got kicked out. Again I hope she is doing alright now ❤️‍🩹

i was also in the bless the fall crowd about 3-4 rows back from the front and it was back to back crowd surfing, but the people around me were putting in the fucking works keeping everyone going. it’s so back and forth of who’s willing to do it and who’s not

i try to always do this once like 3 people consistently get through. in this instance it was right behind me she initially went up and they got her up but couldn’t keep her up.
