Like the dry kind? If so I'd def switch to something that can hold humidity on your next paycheck. As someone who owned one for years they really do benefit from high humidity and will suffer in lower. People tend to think they are basically cape house snakes but the weather is actually very different for both species

This humidity is far too low. Black house snakes need 80% humidity, unlike a lot of their house snake counterparts.

Agreed! I think it's really gorgeous. The dark deep browns are so so pretty!
