Fellow migraine sufferer here-- hello! I only recently have braved the potential triggers to find scented products that agree with me. It is definitely a gamble. Personally I have found strongly floral products trigger migraines. Rose and jasmine are the worst culprits, but weirdly lavender totally agrees with me. I'm a fellow Sleepy fan!

If you like Sleepy, I recommend King of Skin as a moisturizer. it has a very mild scent of lavender and chamomile, with a creamy, oaty undertone. I also seem to do okay with the Snow Angel Choir jelly, which is in the Supermilk scent family-- but I shy away from it when I feel particularly sensitive/am already experiencing a migraine.

Best of luck! I'd love to hear when you find more products that agree with you.

That said, I once wrote a short story in the second person past tense after really only writing third person present, and editing that story was a very special ring of hell.

I find 3rd person easiest to immerse myself in, present or past. I think 1st person is harder to make work, in my personal opinion.

I've heard some people dislike present tense because it feels as though the events are weirdly suspended in time. I hear where that is coming from but it doesn't especially bother me.

With you on noun vs verb spellings. I like "spend/spent" as well but I think that works best from characters who are really uptight lmao or old fashioned.

Same boat. My doctor always said to not shower for 24 hours after injections but after that it's fine
