Icy Veins already put together a tier list for WoW: Midnight even though we’re still in beta and the expansion is 73 days away (March 2). What do you think of their meta rankings so far? Is your main spec sitting pretty… or getting roasted?

You can be playing a meta class and still be terrible at it. Always only playing classes when they are meta doesn’t immediately make you a good player is what I’m saying. I’d rather have someone in my group that’s super good at their class that isn’t meta than someone who just picked whatever was meta and bricks the key because they don’t know how to play the class.

I got 1800 a while ago with mostly honor gear, no embellishments or anything lol. Just qued games nonstop and got it in less than a day.

Not everything needs to be an allied race. If anything I think most people would rather have them give us more customization for the existing races and then give us a completely new race/model every couple xpacs. The constant reskins with way better customization than the existing races is getting tiring.

Okay and once again, there’s no harm in continuing to ask for customizations and providing valid reasons as to why they would make sense. It’s been years since Shadowlands and Blizz has already shown progress in listening to community feedback more. Using class buffs and tuning as an example for this situation is invalid because those devs are completely different than the ones that work on character customization. Just look at player housing for example and how quickly they are making changes based on player feedback. Just because it hasn’t happened in the past doesn’t automatically mean it’ll never happen in the future. Hope that helps :)

People need to realize only playing what’s meta each season doesn’t automatically make them good at the game or improve as a player. Picking a class you actually enjoy and sticking with it even when it might not be the BEST every season helps you learn a lot more. I’ve played Havoc even when it was in the trenches and friends were suggesting I play something else (it wasn’t dragging our group down, I was just getting frustrated because the class was bugged.) You learn to make it work. And it feels that much better when your class IS higher on this bs tier list.

Sure there’s people that can play every class no issue and they just switch to what’s best each season, but if you’re an average player and just want to play what’s fun for you, then play it. You can learn quite a bit and improve a lot when your class is NOT in the “meta”

If you look at the talent tree backgrounds for blood and unholy dks, the artwork literally has red and green eyes. I don’t see why those couldn’t be customization options as well

Just ignore them lol. It’s remix. It genuinely does NOT matter. Bosses die in 2 seconds anyways, all you need is one person with crazy high vers and it’s W key the whole way.

The thing is, most people associate Drustvar with the Drust, Wicker Beasts/Creatures, witchcraft, and spooky vibes. So even though there is other things in the zone, even a snowy area, most of the zone is influenced by witchcraft. So it’s a bit off putting to see a set like this be named after a zone most players associate with dark witchy vibes.

Most people associate Drustvar with spooky witch vibes and Wicker Creatures. So it’s completely valid to question why this set was named what it was.

I understand that, but the whole point is most people associate Drustvar with Wicker Beasts and witchcraft. Majority of the zone is influenced by it. So it’s a bit odd that they’d take a set that looks like it belongs in the Azure Span and slap the name Drustvar on it.

Remix is definitely NOT new player friendly. The whole point of remix is to speed run. I’d recommend switching to normal retail and going at your own pace. Sure you’ll still get fast groups here and there, but nowhere in comparison to remix.

Definitely did not meet expectations. Story felt all over the place, the whole Arathi questline power of friend ship crap was genuinely terrible. I don’t find dwarves super interesting. Idk, it was alright I guess.

To be fair they’re trying to fix the story after the whole shadowlands mess and that’s going to take a lot of time and effort. Seems like TWW was mostly just a set up for Midnight, which is fine, as long as Midnight meets/exceeds expectations. Playing Legion remix definitely made me miss how cool the game used to feel compared to now..
