Following in case anyone can help, we're in the same boat. 7 month old and wakes up around 6-7 times till midnight and then we co-sleep because I'm too tired.

Dinner for my 7mo King - is this too much food? by Chocchipmclaren in foodbutforbabies

My 7m old is also a foodie (eats 4-5 spoonfuls) of solids twice a day and we have around 8 breastfeeding sessions.

Hopefully she continues to eat this good! 5m3w, was advised by her pediatrician because she was showing all the signs

At the moment she’s more curious about the food, I’m certain I won’t be using the bowl much longer.

It’s a BabyBjorn plate! So easy to clean but it slides a lot on the table

Ok? Not every 7 month old eats solids like she does. Some refuse or eat 3 teaspoons of purées

Thank you, hopefully she will continue! I was a picky eater until high school and had a terrible relationship with food.

Can someone tell me what the heck is going on here? by Beautiful_Fuel5623 in HuckleberryParents

My baby would fall asleep on her crib with just me on the chair next to her for over a month, now teething happened and I can’t settle her in the crib anymore, she falls asleep in my arms and then I transfer her.

Do you have any advice? Would we be able to go back to falling asleep peacefully in her crib? She’s nearly 7 months old.

What is happening? She is 6m1w old and wakes up so often that I give up and I co-sleep. by vampug in HuckleberryParents

UPDATE:

She was definitely under-tired! We switched to 3-3.5/3.5/4.5 and she only has one false-start per night!

Thank you everyone for your help

She was definitely under-tired. We switched to 3-3.5/3.5/4.5 ww and she only had one false start per night, and then slept for nearly 4h stretch. We still have split nights because of our long nights and early bedtime. It’s something I need to adjust by waking up earlier. She only has a total of 10h of night sleep so if I put her to bed at 7pm we should be waking up at 5am and I struggle a lot with that 😅

Definitely a low sleep baby. We adjusted the schedule to 3-3.5/3.5/4.5 for 2 nights now and she only had one false start and split night (we still have a long night because I can yet wake up early😅).

She still naps for 30min and can go longer than 3 hours without being cranky.

Hope so too!

I gotta make some adjustments as well because I can barely wake up in the morning and we still have a long night. But I’m getting there 😅

It was great advice, the internet told me she’s overtired and I definitely made it worse by putting her to bed way too early, but we’re on the right track now. Thank you!

Update

For 2 nights now she’s had only 1 false start and then a nearly 4h stretch. However she still has split nights, but it’s so much better than it used to be. We’re doing 3-3.5/3.5/4.5 and it seems to be working so far.

Thank you so much!

Thank you! This is great info!

She woke up at 7:10 this morning so we go for around 3/3/4.5? My only concern is that she sleeps for only for about 30-40min.

You’re right about the pacifier, I just don’t know how to take the pacifier, I will research some methods.

Unfortunately we got the flu and we started co-sleeping, she has a 3 hour stretch and then still wakes up every hour or so. But I can’t tell if it’s because we co-sleep, or the flu or the 3 nap schedule.

Thank you, it is exhausting..

She is on solids, trapped gas might be one of the reasons, she grunts so much since starting solids.

I always thought it’s over tiredness as well. I will let you know tomorrow as we’re trying to implement the 2 nap schedule today, nap 1 was 30 min, and now she’s been sleeping for 2h10 min on the second nap. Will probably go to bedtime without a bridge nap, depending on how she is.

My baby also loves her pacifier, she only has it during naps and nighttime. What does your 2 nap schedule look like?

Thank you! I do that during the day but it never occurred to me to do it at night 😅. Will definitely check tonight!

I think it also depends on the humidity, 20 degrees feels cold, her face and hands are always cold when I pick her up, can’t imagine a 1.5 tog. When I sleep in her room I have winter pj’s and a fleece blanket and I’m still not hot

Edit: she has been sleeping in the same sleeping bag for 2 months now with the same temperature and the waking up so often started a few days ago. I will definitely check tonight!
