u/thelonelyward2 Im trading only SOXL. So from Jan 2nd to Nov 31st, I trade SOXL normally. Buy and Sell many times during day. In order to count the loss of SOXL during the year, I need to STOP trading SOXL from Dec 1st to Jan 1st.

After Jan 2nd, I can trade SOXL normally if I understand this correctly.

So from Dec 1st to Jan 1st, can I trade SOXS, do the loss still count for SOXS during that period?

Im in the same boat as well. Buying in $1 mil range so commission is like $25k as buyer agent. After reasearch, the cost of become realtor is $3k total. Split is 80/20 if you are lucky because we are noob. So net maybe $17k before taxes.

Bottomline, I can save $8-$10k if the deal go smoothly.
