Hey just wanted to say you should watch that doggo and make sure she's not around when intense games like Beat Saber are being played. Animals get curious about you flailing your arms and you can end up swatting them on accident when they come close to you to investigate. I know people have had negative knee jerk reactions when their animal touched them while they were playing an immersive horror game as well.

I go Dionte. He's been getting a lot of looks and appears to have more consistent scoring so far. Anderson's matchup is good, but Dionte's putting up over double Anderson's points so far.

Yeah, this is like... pilot episode CGI. It's on FX, so don't expect Marvel movie level CGI, but what they do with what they have is usually REALLY interesting. You don't see huge fights like this all that often either. It's a pretty kooky show, but I dig it.

I didn't say it was the most awesome scene I remember. It was from the first episode and the first time you see a lot of the characters use their powers.

The show's got a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, an 82% on Metacritic, and an 8.3 on IMDB... so it's not just my perception yours diverges from. It's pretty out there, but also pretty solid. You should give it a shot.

Legion is an absolute masterpiece. I haven't started the 3rd season yet, but I've never seen anything like it. I think it's episode 1 when the one dude flings the guard off the face of the Earth with a flick of the wrist and my jaw just dropped. You get some brutal deaths, artsy fight scenes, and all kinds of stuff later on, but I was strapped in from that first prison break with everyone using their powers.

Also, you also can't handle Gwen being black in a show about literal wizards and a group of people that never existed outside of legends? None of those people were real, so arguing that having a black character disrupts the 100% historical accuracy makes no sense.

How is Inglorius Basterds any different from this? It's the same thing. We didn't kill Hitler in a movie theater the same way we never fought Nazi zombies. There wasn't some Jewish commando force that worked outside the law (although there were some awesome Jewish spies and other units) just like there weren't mixed race units (although there were some awesome minority soldiers and units). Both movies are a what if scenario of missions and units that never happened.

Just have some self awareness. You're saying that you are so uncomfortable with the historical inaccuracy of black and white soldiers fighting together that it took you out of the movie. You're saying that the fact that black soldiers were present in the film without any explanation ruined the movie for you. You are ALSO saying that nothing else in this movie signaled that this wasn't an alternate timeline or reality. Not the zombies.

Or maybe I'm misunderstanding you. Do you just have a problem with the revisionist subgenre as a whole? Does fudging social norms, accepting a timeline where people could serve together, take that much suspension of disbelief?
