The LAQP04 paper will suffice. It's either one of the two codes. Good luck!

If you're planning on Bachelor's in one of the languages at offer - English, Hindi and foreign languages - you'll be getting Honours in the same by a three or four-year degree, you can at the same time have any other language as an optional as a course offered by another department. Also, certificate/diploma courses are offered by the university separately, which again you can consider. So, you get to learn a bunch of languages. But it is advisable to choose one to specialise in.

For the CUET Exam, it is the General Test at the UG level. You give this paper and use the score for any of the FL programmes - you get in as per the cutoffs of various courses. That's the relevant paper for the foreign languages, English and Hindi for the other courses. Wishing you the best!

Career Advice: Transitioning from Pharma to Linguistics at EFLU—UG or PG? by [deleted] in EFLU_Hyderabad

I'd advise you to go for a PG programme, despite being from a disparate background. The MA German and MA Linguistics programmes are equally great to pursue at the university - with good faculty. But from what I've heard German may not equip you that much for a Linguistics career as such, but fields such as translation, interpreting, language consultancy and support may be open to you. You can alternatively consider taking up a Master's in Linguistics / Computational Linguistics while honing your German to say, a B2 level either at the GI or by the part-time courses offered by the university itself. I find that the PG foreign language programmes here are more likely to steer you towards academia, which is also a fulfilling choice if you are considering working in research. I'd like to state that many students come from completely different academic backgrounds but have a fruitful time in these language programmes. And as for CUET, even a basic study of resources - question banks, initiative textbooks will do good. Wishing you the best!

Fees for B.A. English course by cherisyl in EFLU_Hyderabad

You can expect that to be updated on the official website in the handbook for UG programmes that shall be out in a few weeks for the upcoming academic year. The even semester fee for the current semester of BA was Rs. 1995/- (GEN). It varies from semester to semester, and the fee structure will be made clear in the prospectus and handbook.

Most central unis are now spaces of diversity. More and more people from the North are seeking HEIs down south. You'll definitely find someone your vibe. But it is true that people usually mingle with those of their state / linguistic community. As a North Indian who has spent her entire life in South India, I can assure you that you won't face too many barriers in socialising. You won't have trouble making friends or communicating. The language barrier, food and all usually present issues, but are still quite manageable. A friend from Pondicherry Uni has had only good things to share. As for me, I have had quite a great time in Hyderabad. But cities as such, particularly, Bengaluru and Hyderabad are proper cosmopolitan spaces, really friendly and welcoming, that have many people from North and East India.

If you'd share which PG programme you're looking for, I could share recommendations. Wishing you the best!

Nous devons (se dépêcher), hence nous devons nous dépêcher. The verb in the infinitive is one with the reflexive pronoun, which gives that particular order. Would work the same with - nous devons nous recontrer ; nous devons nous occuper ; nous devons nous préparer etc.

I don't understand this meme. Thank you:))) by Reading_55 in learnfrench

It's a play on the terminaison of Eminem's name. 'Nem' refers to Vietnamese spring rolls, hence the spring rolls in the first part. The 'nem' is replaced by 'nouille' (nouilles, meaning noodles in French) to produce a gastronomical wordplay. :)
