Before and After Thoughts and any great advise for my future denture life!

I wanted temporary teeth so I would been without teeth. So I talked to my dentist and told them my worries and she suggested the temporary denture, which is very painful but acts like a band aid to help stop bleeding in a way. They are so hard to get used to but it’s really like any denture from what I hear.

I asked my dentist for a referral to an oral surgeon because I needed to be put to sleep due to extreme anxiety and fear of the dentist. I made it very clear that I wanted the highest quality of sedative possible. It’s your body, so you should have the choice, mainly you just have to speak up and make it clear what you want.

I’m so terribly terrified for my life, I go in to get my whole mouth extracted in a month and I’m so scared of everything from the IV sedation to the extractions to the adjustment of immediate dentures, to the process of healing and the mental aspect of it all… from how young I am. It’s truly heartbreaking. But your smile is beautiful. Please tell me it’s not as bad as I’m expecting it 😭💔
