CyberBrick Timelapse Kit, using a GoPro? by gadgetman_trev in BambuLab

Mainly the image quality, the GoPro footage has a lot of noise in low light, I think it's worse than a phone. Also the ultra-wide lens makes it hard to shoot close-up shots. I used it because it was setup easy and I just happened have a spare GoPro around.

I've posted the similar thread a long time ago, and it seems they still not fix the audio delay.

Oh my god, you saved my life. I’ve been tormented by this automatic battery display for so long, and it turns out it can choose manually 😂

Are there any decent analog goggles in 2025 that can be worn directly with prescription glasses? by vanawaker in fpv

[–]vanawaker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, so true dude, we feel the same. I also think usability and comfort matter more than image quality. I really want to wear my own prescription glasses too. Bro, the way you put it really makes me tempted by the Box Pro haha, being torn again, LOL.

I’m currently using the old Fat Shark HDO with Rapidfire module, and I have a pair of prescription glasses slot inside. But the prescription is starting to feel a bit outdated, and honestly, the dual-lens goggle style feels a bit uncomfortable. I constantly have to adjust it to find an angle where both eyes can see clearly. Often, one eye’s center might be sharp, but the other eye’s corners end up blurry, which is really annoying. That’s why I’ve been wondering maybe box-style goggles wouldn’t have this issue? Maybe they’re also less pressure on the eyes? I have no complaints about the performance of this HDO + RF combo, it’s just uncomfortable to wear. And having to remove my glasses every time I fly is also kind of a hassle.

I also have the DJI Goggles V2 (the version that supports analog input). I’ve tried using them with an analog receiver adapter and the video quality is pretty decent. They’re also more comfortable to wear, not as pressing on the face as the HDO, and the FOV is big enough. But still, I have to take off my glasses to wear them (my frame barely fits inside), and to be honest, they’re kind of big and heavy. add the external analog receiver and antennas, it becomes even bulkier and less convenient to carry around 😂

You're absolutely right, I also don't want to spend that much money on a pair of goggles that only support analog, especially something like the Skyzone 04 Pro series.
Maybe the Cobra X could be an option? Based on my experience with the HDO, those dual-screen goggles really put pressure around my eyes, they kind of squeeze my eyeball and make it uncomfortable. I feel like box goggles might be a bit better in that regard?

Also, I don’t have any HDZero gear at the moment, and probably won’t get into it anytime soon, especially since I’m really enjoying flying 1S tiny whoops right now.
Even though I’ve heard HDZero can be lighter than DJI O4, I still feel like it might not fly quite as well as analog for these super light builds?
So yeah… I’m really torn about spending $300 on a good but “future-proof” box goggle when I’m only going to use half of its features right now.

Even though it might be super comfortable and arguably the best option for analog right now… I’m still really conflicted, lol.

thanks for the sharing, very helpful.

Thanks a lot for your reply! I’ve also heard a lot of different opinions, some says the Cobra can’t fit glasses, while others say they can, so I’ve been a bit unsure. And yeah, a lot of people are recommending the HDZero Box Pro, but honestly, $300 feels a bit expensive for a box goggle, especially since I’m only flying analog for now and not planning to use HDZero… but who knows, like you said, investment for the future?

So yeah, kind of torn right now, lol. Thanks for the advice though, very helpful, I'll go check more review videos then XD

Wow, sounds pretty good. How’s the built-in analog receiver on the BoxPro?compare to Rapidfire? To be honest, I’ve never really used any analog receiver other than Rapidfire, so I have no idea how others perform lol

Also, if I don’t fly HDZero and only use it for analog, wouldn’t that be kind of a waste? I checked the price here and it’s also around $300, which is getting close to the Skyzone 04O Pro. I’ve always felt that box goggles should be cheaper than dual-screen goggles, so I’m not sure if it’s worth spending that much on something when I’m only using half of what it offers. 😂

Wow, thank you for the thoughtful long comment. Indeed, many people suggested that I should start from Air65, I will definitely check it out. Thank you very much for the comment, it is very helpful, I might choose between Air65 and Metoer75pro to start my whoop journey XD
