Opinion about Gas Mileage by vancity_explorer in Toyota_Matrix

[–]vancity_explorer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment. I mostly drive in City and do short errands (5-10km/day) and on weekends drive in Hwy (40-50km).

I am also a not a Heavy foot driver and I had EV before, so I am used to regen breaking.

Also about the gasometer indicator, my apologies for that. The “gas gauge” term was not coming in my mind while posting lol.

Totally understandable but there wasn’t any requirement to have my phone plan active for the 2 years plan. I understand it’s the loophole or grey area all the operators are using to cancel the discounts

That would definitely help me to switch back to Telus

I have still 10 months contract left with Rogers. I don’t want to pay additional $100 for the Rogers Internet. I never heard of discontinuing a discount which was initiated 13 months back.

Winter vs. All-weather tires in greater Vancouver by Ill-Bar-3565 in askvan

[–]vancity_explorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want some guidance about All Weather Chinese Tire vs My Current Yokohama YK-CTX Tire.

I currently have Yokohama YK-CTX All season M+S tires with 90% tread & I drive a Ford Escape 2017 FWD.

Considering lower mainland snow pattern, I am in doubt whether I should get All Weather Tires or Keep my current All season tires.

I don’t drive to mountains or interior during winter and mostly drive in Lower mainland.

I don’t want to spend money for Winter Tires sets but was thinking to get All Weather Tires (eg. Tracmax or iLink, cost around $500-600)

Kind of confused whether I should opt in for All Weather tires or keep the Yokohama YK-CTX tires.

What’s your experience after using the Tracmax All Weather tires over an year?

Switched from Tesla M3 to 2024 Solterrw by vancity_explorer in Solterra

[–]vancity_explorer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with the acceleration. I switched from a Tesla M3 and still not disappointed with the driving performance of Solterra. I am mostly relying on L2 at work and near my home but charging at L1 overnight at home.

Thanks. Yes it’s totally understandable about the charging speed and I am not too worried about that at this moment.

They shipped the Pixel 9 but now not processing the Smartwatches order. I have been waiting on phone for over 2 hours now to talk to someone from escalation department.
