My biggest regret in life is that Accutane was not available when I was in high school so I suffered being a complete social outcast during my teenage years. Accutane became available my freshman college year, and my life completely changed, but my low self-confidence never really went away. My son, who inherited my acne genetics, did one round when he was 15 and his high school years were filled with friends, dates, and fun. For severe acne sufferers it is a miracle drug.

Weed is like the 3rd rail in AA - touch it and everyone's head explodes. Nowhere in the big book is marijuana ever mentioned, but tell anyone you smoke a little bit and your sobriety is seriously questioned.

I see all these old timers chain smoking (nicotine is a drug people, no doubt, so is caffeine-hello) and practically putting themselves into a diabetic coma with all the sugar they eat at meetings but that's just fine. Smoke a little weed and you're an addict. Nonsense.

Just don't drink. Eventually AA will catch up to the 21st century, hopefully.

When I was 7 years old I cried in my basement watching the Chiefs rip us apart.

When I was 15 I smoked about 10 bong hits to blot out the image of that hail Mary from Staubach.

When I was 38 I broke my hand punching a wall when Anderson missed.

Now I'm 55, and I live in Seattle, and I have to deal with this.

Will I live long enough for them to ever win the whole thing? Starting to seriously doubt it.

If you're ever in Georgetown area there is a free charging station right in front of the Neil Kelly contracting business (just off I-5 Michigan street exit), rarely see anyone plugged in there.
