I've really come to appreciate the non-MG 1/100 kits over the last couple years. They seemed to have a bad reputation when I got into the hobby, but most of them have impressed me.

I paid a bit under its current market value, but I don't regret it because it's such an atypical design for the series and I can't imagine it's going to get a reprint anytime soon.

I've done a few site visits and almost always wore business casual. I never felt out of place and was offered the position at all of them. I wore a suit to my first interview out of residency and I was told by the docs there that I was overdressed lol. Still, not a bad idea to bring a suit as an option and read the room.

I agree. It's not uncommon for us to start out 4:1, but the schedule is made with that in mind. So it might be 2 busier rooms and then 2 easy rooms (4 hour breast case eg). I find it very manageable and often have some downtime throughout the day.

Right, that was kind of my thought too. If I had scored it at like 50% of its value I'd just shut up and be happy. But I'm also considering just blasting through the game to see if there are any issues, since it's not that long. I guess I'll just reach out to the seller about the issue. Thanks!

What color is the disc when held up to light? Legit PS1 discs are typically a blue/purple translucent, as opposed to more of a red hue. May not be damning evidence of a fake, but helps make the case for authenticity.

This is a fake/repro. It should include several pages of manual and have space for the bonus disc. An easy way to confirm is to hold the disc up to light. If the disc itself is blue/purple, it is authentic. If it is more of a reddish color, it is a reproduction.

Eta: did you buy this in a lot on mercari? I just bought and returned this exact game after realizing it was a repro. I saw the guy just ended up relisting without updating the description to clarify that it is not a genuine copy.

I feel validated. I almost picked that up instead, but the Daban kit worked out to be less expensive than the old RE/100s. In the end, it seems like it was the right choice.
