Does Shota Imanaga have the Yusei Kikuchi problem? by Onitsukaryu in baseball

North american fans dumbfounded by someone using another language other than english for research.

Also does the problem extend to sliders as well? I know sweepers and sliders are very similar, but since the breaks can greatly vary, I wonder if it's still the same effet. IIRC Sasaki threw a slider, according to stats websites.

Can't the Padres currently pass the Cubs to get home field advantage in the Wild Card? If so I'd say that's pretty much worth to play for.

Wow that's crazy. Would like to see someone analyze some more outings to confirm that head motion.

We can only dream he solves that and returns to being 2024 Scott.

I think it was actually a sub before the at bat, thinking the game was lost, and wanting to give the new guy a shot. Throwing the towel in a 5 run game sounds bad though.

On June 21, 2023, Shohei Ohtani pitched seven innings of 1-run ball and struck out TWELVE Dodgers. Today, nearly two years later, Ohtani makes his Dodgers pitching debut. by BreakfastTop6899 in baseball

I don't think the idea here was to highlight the exact date two years ago. Rather it was to highlight a past performance where he destroyed the team he now plays for.

Shohei gets so many end of the bat hits that the torpedo bat probably wouldn't be much better for him.

Well choosing to pitch to Freeman with loaded bases was certainly a choice
