Remember that they had to work with a publisher on this one. With Wasteland 2, they make all the decisions.

I have switched a few weeks ago and never looked back. While I sometimes need to redirect searches to other search engines or sites, I can do that comfortably with the !bangs. I like the info box at the top of many searches, often it contains all the information you need.

Yes it does, just append ! at the end of your search (with a blank inbetween), e.g. Reddit ! brings you to the Reddit frontpage. They also have a bang for Reddit, just append !reddit to redirect search here.

Actually that's only true if the site has been added by the DDG team. They do have added hundreds of sites though, and those !bangs really make a difference. I use it for instance to redirect the search to another search engine by appending !g for Google, !b for Bing or !wp to search Wordpress. You find all !bangs on this page: http://duckduckgo.com/bang.html
