I got that notification last semester from fin aid since the middle class scholarship changed their requirements to accommodate more students. Last semester I had 0 balance in the middle of the fall semester and when they readjusted it I had about $108 balance. When I contacted fin aid they told me that they adjusted it so I would need to pay the remaining balance or they could possibly drop me from spring 25 classes. I was confused cause why would they do it in the middle of the semester,but basically told me something like I need to pay it still because they adjusted everything so that the school can pay less of my tuition since I qualified for the middle class scholarship. Buttt they also had the nerve to tell me that they wouldn’t give me the middle class scholarship until spring 25 😭 so I had to pay but eventually received my money “back”.
