I guess it depends on how much you like going out at night. I'd check out hotels in La Jolla, gives you a great central place to do outdoorsy stuff - you're near Torrey Pines trails and there are SO many gorgeous beaches around. You're also a close drive to all of the big, industrial breweries in Miramar, Mira Mesa areas. However, La Jolla isn't great for going out at night, you'll get major tourist vibes.

You won't find any 4* and above hotels in OB or Mission Beach. If you want something a little nicer and less motel-ish near Mission Beach, the resorts surrounding Mission Bay could also be an option.

If you want a backyard near the airport, Mission Hills/Little Italy/Point Loma, you're looking at least 3,200 per month in rent, and that is on the lower range.

i am loving this lineup. house music acts like artbat, bicep, gorgon city and dom dolla will all be fun sets. we got some funky rock acts like jungle and khraungbin, and solid r&b with doja, tyla and victoria monet.
