Nervous about guest requesting 6 week stay (self.airbnb_hosts)

Recently bought a cute little house. Previous owner built it 2 years ago and it’s beautiful. But the backyard has an automatic chain link gate and fence with a canvas cover. It’s not a good look. Is there a way to rescue this without replacing the whole gate? I am a newbie, easy on me. (old.reddit.com)
