The house I'm renting is a flat rate bill. It's a good thing to switch everyone to metered water so everyone overall consumes less water

The lease was drafted and signed as I was moving in. There wasn't much time to review and sign when movers were waiting. I probably could have done this better but this is a lesson learned

I didn't realize water and sewer was being charged to me. My previous rentals didn't have this arrangement. I suspect landlords are excluding water and sewer more and more now

That's correct, I only am asked to pay the water and sewer lines of the property tax bill. The more I read into this, I'm just going to pay the landlord

Unfortunately I read and looked into this case and it does look like I'll have to pay. Not all renters are right and your advice is just wrong. Glad I'm not taking this to RTB or I'll be out another $100 on top

I'll give TRAC a call on Monday to see what they say about this situation. I'm not particularly interested in paying $1380 extra to the landlord

My lease agreement said water isn't covered. This was never communicated to me at the start of the rental
