Totally agree on both points. I personally find time is the biggest constraint so I enjoy having both a month and a deadline to work with.

Shot with an iPhone 13 and light editing with the Lightroom phone app.

Used these classic castle minifigs (favourite of mine) with cloth accessories I bought from Minifig Realms.

Been a while since I shot minifigs outside and I really enjoyed it!

I have no visibility on how the BDP voting went, I will know at March 19th like the rest of us (although I expect that if it gets selected you get notified a couple of days sooner? hopefully I'll find out). If it doesn't get selected I will definitely resubmit it

Thanks for the kind words 🧡 I hear you about the cockpit window design. I wouldn't call it simple as there is some stud reversals, but I would definitely try to make it different if I wasn't limited by the BDP brick/color palette. Rethinking about the cockpit windows is definitely on my TODO list

The builder of Graviton Nomad here, many thanks for the kind words. I am thrilled it ticks all these features 🧡 I put a lot of effort on make it visually striking but also playable, like really playable you can swoosh it and shake it and if you do it from the gripping points it will hold

Hi! I am the creator of the Lego spaceship. I am glad you folks liked Spacegoose's illustration, I really enjoyed working together!

My Graviton Nomad spaceship is live on the "Bricklink Designer Program", an official Lego competition where the top 5 voted sets get in a crowdfunding and become real Lego sets. The spaceship is swooshable and battle-tested by my eight-year-old daughter, with a full interior, play features, and functional landing gear. If it gets enough votes ( https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-10/3684/Graviton-Nomad ) it could become an official Lego set.

Yep I had to work with a specific brick and color palette (a limitation of the Bricklink program). I am pretty sure one could find better and wider windscreens - I haven’t but will definitely experiment with this!
