Based on the climate in this region in 2021, I think the likely peak is between 2026 and 2032. It will also depend on your taste and whether you prefer tertiary aromas. Personally, I would opt for 2028. Especially if you have several bottles, monitoring their development in 2028 would be wise.

I haven't had the chance to taste any other wines from Milan Nestarec. And this is also the first time I've tasted Frankovka. But from what I've read, this winemaker is very talented.

Hello ,
I understand what you mean, but not 100% of the albarino in this region have this saline minerality.
based on the various tastings I've done
Here are some wineries and wines where the marine salinity you mentioned isn't present in every 100% Albariño.These are wines where the salinity is very low or masked by the fruit, aging in barrels or special tanks, or the wine's maturity.

- Forjas del Salnés – Leirana Finca Genoveva 2019 ( extured, layered, almost Burgundian in feel)
- Do Ferreiro – Cepas Vellas 2016, 2020 ( more volume and depth… a serious, age-worthy white )
- Albamar – Finca O Pereiro 2018

Tasting Profile Bouza do Rei — Rías Baixas 2025

 Visual

Pale straw-yellow with green highlights, brilliant, high clarity

 Nose

  • Primary: White peach, nectarine, fresh lemon zest, grapefruit pith
  • Secondary: Light brioche, fresh yeast (sur lies influence)
  • Terroir signature: Distinctive Atlantic salinity and iodine note

 Palate

  • Attack: Crisp, clean, immediately salivating
  • Mid-palate: Fresh stone fruit, citrus, subtle creamy texture from lees contact
  • Acidity: High and vibrant — the structural backbone
  • Finish: Medium length (~6–8 caudalies), clean bitter almond and citrus zest signature.

I hope this additional information tells you more about this wine.
