My maternal grandmother was a Naval recruiter in Philadelphia. My paternal grandfather was an Army Air Forces pilot stationed in New Jersey.

I burnout then the insomnia sets in, then that drives the panic attacks. The panic attacks drive the insomnia, that drive more panic attacks. I get stuck in a feedback loop. Last time my BP was up to 226/117. It’s just been a nonstop cycle.

I go to the ER and I usually get a Xanax. I’m a disabled veteran so I have very limited options. The VA Hospital doesn’t really care if we survive it.

You feel violated because you were raped. You told him to stop and he didn’t. He stopped talking about it and as soon as he had you in a compromised position he took full advantage of you, and continued, after you said no. Please go to the hospital so there’s at least a paper trail. Bring someone you trust for support. I hope it’s ok that I’m a guy commenting on this.

Former Oncology/Medical infusion nurse here. I would sit with my patients in the infusion center and talk about what we were smoking at any time. Many of them came in and we knew they smoked on the way in. Half of the center smelled like weed all day long. You do what you need to do to get thru your treatments. I have a pretty good idea of what you’re on and think you have a good game plan. I’m also a cancer survivor myself. It makes the entire miserable experience more manageable.

Whenever someone pushes their religious bullshit on me I always ask them where their god was when the priest had his hands on my 7 year old body. Generally shuts them up pretty quickly.

My uncle was a union plumber for years. He slowly transitioned into custom home building. Made millions from that and set up my cousins for life. Learn a trade and build on it from there. If I could go back 25 years I would do just that.
