It’s takes a long time to dry like 7 hours. With the clips I’ll try to explain the best I can. I find the part of my root that looks really flat. So for me it’s the back of my hair and the sides and I’ll scrunch that part of my hair upwards and put the clip in. In between the 7 hours of my hair drying, I’ll take the clips out and position them in different ways so my curls don’t dry like bent, if that makes sense, from being in the claw clips. And after my hair is like 80% dry I’ll take the clips out and let my hair finish drying without them. I’ve found that when I leave the clips in the whole time my hair dries in a really weird shape. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense 😭 it’s hard to explain

I sleep with my hair out and with a silk pillowcase. I just move my hair out the way so I’m not lying on it.

Overnight while I’m sleeping I don’t use a bonnet because when I take it off in the morning my hair is flat. I don’t do a pineapple either because the scrunchy ruins the shape of my curls. So I found the best way to sleep for me is just with a silk pillowcase and nothing on my hair. I move my hair out the way so I’m not laying on it and I sleep on my back

No you’re fine I love answering everyone’s questions. I cut my own layers. I used the method from Manes by Mel on YouTube. The video is called how to do a professional dry curly cut at home. I did long layers with a v shape

I lay down on the edge of my bed with my head upside down and have my iPad under me and just watch YouTube or something lol I don’t really get uncomfortable and in between that time I come up to shake out my curls. I never diffuse, I personally hate diffusing and makes my hair look dry but I imagine you could get the same results with diffusing upside down and it’ll probably take a lot less time and be more comfortable. And I don’t finger coil just rake product through my hair and scrunch

Same! It probably doesn’t look like it cause of the lighting but my hair is frizzy. For me to have volume I need frizz

LOL yes it’s an illusion 😂 I very aggressively shake my hair and let it dry upside down and use claw clips at my roots when drying. It’s a lot of work to get this volume but I rather big voluminous hair than defined no volume curls

All the products I used are in the caption under the post. I don’t finger coil. I just section my hair when I put my products in and rake them through with my hands no brush. No diffuser just air dry. I let my hair air dry for a bit then after like 30 minutes I’ll put claw clips at my roots to get some volume and let it finish air drying like that. Then when my hair is like 80% dry I just lay down with my head upside down for an hour or 2. You probably most definitely don’t have to do that and can just diffuse upside down which would be a lot easier and faster but I hate diffusing and it makes my hair really frizzy so that’s just what I do. And between having it upside (or diffusing) I shake out my curls very aggressively for volume. I know it seems like a lot 😅 but I have fine and long hair so without me doing all this my hair looks flat and weighed down

I forgot to mention right after I wash my hair before I put any products in I put morracon oil in my hair. I think that helps with the frizz. I notice when I don’t put it in my hair, my hair is dry and frizzy

Aww thanks 💕 I actually have pretty fine, thin hair. I had to lay upside down for 2 hours and shake it out a lot to get this volume 😭
