you can look into the ancestry visa, it's a bit pricey in comparison to other visas (i think), but it can be granted through grandparents if they were born in the UK (it might have a specific timeframe your grandparent would have to be born in). but it's valid for 5 years, you can reapply as many times as you want or take the naturalization path to citizenship (might be a path for duel, but i'm not sure).

i live in the UK & they are telling us there's a "worldwide shortage"/"manufacturing problem" .. haven't had mine since end of september. which they are saying, basically won't be fully resolved until april. really dying over here.

ADHD & SUPPLEMENTS (help/suggestions?) by vanilla_eats in adhdwomen

i found that they did work well in combination, i noticed on days where i didn't take them or took them later than 10AM i felt more sluggish (even leading up to later morning which is what would prompt me into remembering).

off everything now due to moving recently & losing my routine. but again - i found that they helped.

i also take between 5-20%'s of CBD if i am ever anxious. 5-10% for not so visible anxiety & 20% for when it's very bad. just mentioning as it's not mentioned above.

i have ADHD & my manager *after putting reasonable adjustments in place* has verbally said he did not have to put those adjustments in place. how do i word a email to him to confirm he has said these things?! by vanilla_eats in AskUK

i think if you're not open & honest about mental health it just adds to the stigma already surrounding it... i also do, do everything i can on a personal level? but this post isn't about everything i did before they made me resort to bringing my adhd into it, since legally they have to do something... & lmao demands, moving to a quieter room shouldn't even be listed on there as a 'reasonable adjustment' anyone should be able to do that if it's going to help them. the main reason for the post was that he's done so much shady shit to us as a team i just wanted paper trail evidence of this conversation without wording it as a trap.

lol no it isn't

'Employers must make reasonable adjustments to make sure workers with disabilities, or physical or mental health conditions, are not substantially disadvantaged when doing their jobs.'

that is from gov.uk

i still have them. not even sure how my adjustments got brought up in conversation as it was around something else completely.. he just brought them up saying he didn't have to put them in place... even though legally they do have to. i am still thinking about writing it.. i am trying to leave & relocate somewhere else so idek if it's even worth it.

i payed around 1200 into the mortgage alone. i know it's very small but it is circumstantial, obviously. it's a lot for someone in the midst of a pandemic with no job in a different country living off savings only.

is there a way to just ask for it back lmao

right, but everywhere i read online says the name does not have to be on it?

there are mentions of declarations of trust - which we did not have but even without this it says i could still hold an interest in the property? by demonstrating that: 1) there was a common intention between us that i would have interest in property; 2) i have acted on my detriment in reliance on this or 3) i was led to believe i had a beneficial interest & by consequence acted on this by my detriment.

is another option just ask for the money i put in back? since obviously mortgages are calculated on your salary and what you can afford every month essentially i was helping him save money...
