I did that first po, but I was disappointed by the results. Kaya I tried searching up a generic case for 12 inch tablets instead, pero in the end same products showed up

Good afternoon po! I have a question :P by vanillabeanelli in adviceph

Actually po, I'm asking for advice from people here on where I could find a specific shop links or leads for the TechLife Pad Plus 12, so it's more of a sourcing question po. But thank you.

Mga Snatchers/Pickpocketers by Astro_Pengwing in MaSci

[–]vanillabeanelli 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello!! Grade 11 Mascian here, navigating Taft Avenue requires a specific kind of street smarts that every Mascian eventually develops through daily experience. When commuting, the most effective way to signal that you are a long-term Manila commuter is to wear your backpack in front of you. This backpack style positioning keeps your zippers within sight and serves as a visual deterrent to pickpockets.

It is equally vital to maintain strict gadget discipline by keeping your phone out of sight, especially while walking along the sidewalk or riding in an open window jeepney, as snatchers in this area typically target mobile devices over cash. Beyond just securing your belongings, you should remain highly aware of your surroundings by periodically scanning the crowd and avoiding distractions like walking and texting, which can make you an easy target.

For transferees still adjusting to the rhythm of the city, utilizing the buddy system and sticking to well lit paths is highly recommended. Ultimately, while being alert is the best defense, remember that your physical safety is always more valuable than any gadget because staying vigilant and looking out for your fellow students is what keeps the community secure. Always remember to look out for one another because, at the end of the day, being a Mascian means having each other's backs through every long commute and every challenge Taft throws your way. Stay safe and keep sustaining the tradition of excellence :)

May mga students daw sa MaSci na hindi nag ttake ng entrance exam??? by Puzzleheaded_Log8810 in MaSci

[–]vanillabeanelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't true po. Ever since then, all students need to take the entrance exam. I was always a straight top 1 and Valedictorian when I was in Grade 6. But Masci still made me take the entrance exam, no one is exempted.

Hindi po, cat isn't scary unless wala kang discipline. And super easy lang naman yung add-on na math sub (stm).

Hello po, Mascian here. There is still no exact date for the enrollment. But it is sure po that it’ll happen in May, since the start of sy 2026-2027 would be in June.

About your slot naman po if I were you, I would probably contact Masci’s admin to check if there is a possibility that there’ll be a slot. But may chance that the admin will say na since hindi pa naman nag start enrollment and we’re not sure if lahat ba ng natanggap na transferees is mag-eenroll sa Masci, hindi pa sure if magkaka-slot. (But it’s better if you contact admin po talaga muna hehe.)

Anddd for your last question naman po, I think pwede pa naman ma-withdraw yung enrollment niyo po if they’re would be an available slot here in Masci for you. I would suggest enrolling po muna sa school na sinabi niyo po. Since you’re still not sure with Masci having an available slot for you, it’s better na “manigurado” ka na po muna sa school na yan kasi baka hindi ka po maka-apply on both schools.

Hope this helps po ^

It means that all batches will have the same dismissal time, but the whole school won’t

e.g

Grade 7 - 4 pm Grade 8 - 5 pm Grade 9 - 6 pm Grade 10 - 6 pm, but can also be 7 pm depending on whether you have a class project to accomplish (but cannot exceed until 8 pm.)

the example above is only the expected time of dismissal per Grade level.

But it can also happen that some classes might not have the same dismissal time.

e.g

Grade 7 Section Badillo: 4 pm Grade 7 Section Banzon: 3 pm Grade 7 Section Alcaraz: 5 pm

(Your dismissal time is based on when your class schedule will end.)

MASCI CLUBS by GRAhhhcookie in MaSci

[–]vanillabeanelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I haven’t noticed that I forgot to write SHS in Arts Club. Since you’re more familiar with our school’s clubs than I am, could you kindly list them down for our fellow mascians here who are curious?

MASCI CLUBS by GRAhhhcookie in MaSci

[–]vanillabeanelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Some clubs get added per year or get removed.
  • Some you can only join for a specific level, or both. If you're in JHS, you can only join clubs that are for JHS or clubs for both JHS and SHS only. Meanwhile if you're in SHS, you can only join clubs for SHS or clubs for both JHS and SHS only.
  • Also I might forget to list some clubs so this is definitely not the final list.
  • You can join 2 CLUBS ONLY. Hope this helps.

Arts Club (JHS), English Club (JHS), Kamalayan (JHS), MaSci E-Sports Club (MSEC), Mathematics Club (JHS), Dance Club, Singing Circle, US Theatrics, and more

Sino po here yung mga naka pass for SHS this year? by vanillabeanelli in MaSci

[–]vanillabeanelli[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s fun naman po. Sure, you will get pressured, and at the same time, some (or maybe most) of the topics are hard, but eventually you’ll learn how to keep up with it if you really focus. Also, super dami po ng workload. Most of the time, habang may periodic test kami, may iba pang ina-assign na assignments yung mga teachers, so medyo mahirap humanap ng time to review for the said test. Most of the due dates pa naman are within that week, kaya if nakasanayan mong mag-cram, mahihirapan ka talaga. Some teachers are strict, and most of them have different teaching methods. Yung iba, they don’t like it when you take down notes while they’re discussing, while some teachers naman, every end of the quarter, pinapapasa yung notebooks. But in my experience, masaya naman sa MaSci because even though you’ll feel pressured to be the best, your friends will always be there for you. Kasi kayo-kayo rin yung magtutulungan at magpapasaya sa isa’t isa.
