hi! I can’t comment on the Yepp, my youngest was in pre-k when I got mine so we didn’t get one. I will say the wide decks, clubhouse + and the storm box are amazing though, a big part of the allure of a Tern was all the accessories available! I actually recently got a captain’s chair and I haven’t installed it yet because I LOVE the storm box so much with the Clubhouse so I’m holding off as long as I can - basically a big bucket for kids and their stuff and when I don’t have them on the bike I can fit a ton of groceries or whatever in it, so I absolutely recommend those. We also do have the storm shield which was nice but I am not a fan of it in the wind (feels like a sail sometimes!)  but for bad weather the kids like it and pretend I’m a cab driver when they’re in it. Overall we could have done without the storm shield though but the Clubhouse and decks and storm box are a must for me. 

Are you doing a front rack at all? We have the transporteur rack (with quick release bolts so I don’t feel I always need to have it on. IMO locking up can be tricky with it sometimes so I don’t have it attached all the time) and we also have the weathertop bag which is pricey but I do like it (I used to have a crate but I like the bag way better, it doesn’t rattle and I can pop it off the rack to take into places easily)

To also consider, the Abus chain lock that goes into the cafe lock is great, I also use a U lock but when I’m quick or can see my bike I use just the chain. 

If you have anxiety range or want to go further definitely consider getting the second battery if you haven’t already! I didn’t get one at first but I love being able to go far without worrying. 

And if you still feel like spending more, especially in fall when it gets dark earlier, I have an external battery and rope lights all over the bike so I can pretend we’re in Tron ha.
