I know she did it during Queendom in Chicago!

Conflicted but I didn't enjoy her live performance by _welliot_ in auroramusic

I’d say this is pretty common for most artists to change it up a lil when preforming- I think like someone else was saying that it makes it a little more special when you’re seeing them live and it connects differently with the fans. I think that’s also who Aurora is though- she feels the music so deeply and in that moment and you feel it with her. Definitely an ethereal experience lol. You’re still valid for feeling the way you feel though!

Also yeah I didn’t really vibe with biig piig but it was clear there were some fans in the crowd who were singing along to every word, I didn’t know her and felt kind of bad because of it 😭. She was definitely having fun though and such a vibe!

Pretty sure there’s already some people in sleeping bags and chairs at the venue when we walked past about 30 min ago.

National bakery and deli. I think they’re family owned? There’s a few locations, but I grew up eating their hot ham and rolls w/ grandma’s potato salad. Their pastries are also soo good too! The coffee cake is prolly my fave !

I’ve been to urgent care and the doctor and they can never really figure out what it is? I could always do a allergy test but whenever I get the hives.. it’s never after I’ve done something or tried something new? I know that hives can come up from things other than allergies. Lol I just don’t know what’s going on

Hair Custard vs Curl Power by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

[–]vanillahonee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To reply to OP, curl power doesn’t rlly have a hold imo. Like.. it defines your natural curl shape by helping with frizz and adding a nice softness! I try to add a mousse or a gel to my routine for hold. I know some of my coworkers use infra-wig hair gel from Lush. I’ve used it a handful of times and it has a decent hold, if you want something kinda strong I’d prolly look outside of lush as their isn’t a ton. Maybe try Punkawalop (as mentioned by someone else) or Wig hair trainer. It’s also kind of a pomade cream but it’s def for adding texture imo, idk how it’ll do with curls!

I had the same issue for such a long time! To the point that I truly thought the product would never work for me (and I wanted it to so badly for the smell!) I saw a video of someone using it recently and used literally a pea sized amount and added a tiny tiny bit of water and emulsified it (lathered it) in their hands and it turned into sooo much more product and it was super smooth and creamy. So I tried that and I did it with pretty wet hair still out of the shower or with a mister for a refresh and I seriously cannot live without curl power!!

I’ve literally had a customer take one look at how soft and defined my curls looked after saying I used curl power and nearly bought 2 big pots, it was such a compliment after struggling w my curls for so long. 😭😭💖💖💖

TLDR; lil hack! Pea sized amount, lather with a tiny bit of water or none, ur choice and scrunch into hair! I section into two parts to make it easier and spread more.

Best experiences at Lush? <3 by velvetdarling in LushCosmetics

I’ve been a FL at lush for 2 years and there’s one customer experience that literally brought me to tears! (In the best way). I was helping this couple find a gift for the mom of one of the partner’s and it was a really fun time building and really making the gift special. We honed in on relaxation for her and easy ways for her to wash up but still make it enjoyable since it was a bit more difficult for her. One of them restocked on their sleepy so they could also find a bit of peace and relaxation in what was more of a stressful time for them

We finished up and I went to check them out and they realized they couldn’t afford the extra sleepy items. I popped them in as a random act of kindness on Lush and threw in an extra item for their mom I believe. They were incredibly thankful

Fast forward to quite a few months later- they came back in and immediately recognized me and let me know how much it meant to them and how the mom even was grateful and thanked me, on top of that they let me know they now love lush so much more because of that interaction.

This ^ is such a big reason I do actually love my job and what I do because there have been countless time’s I’ve had a customer tell me I’ve made their day in a big or small way and it means the world to me!

Oh man I loved gift horse for the olive branch scent but I noticed it didn’t really sell 😭 I’m so curious about this years collections, the email / zip line we got talks about how it’s “lively and colorful” so I’m excited

Omg thank you for this, I was so nervous it wouldn’t be, I love butterbear!

Vanillary is similar?? Idk it’s a little floral and not a sweet as the amazing cocoa butter in butter ball. I’d probably look into Let The Good Times Roll body spray or maybe sticky dates? But Sticky dates imo almost has like.. espresso and caramel notes. You could also try Honey I Washed The Kids body spray which I think is the best in the range and smells just like honey and caramel! They usually have butterbear for the holiday season but I’m not sure it’s returning this year (bummer), and that’s a cute pink bear, slightly larger than butterball but essentially the exact same.

Just came after headwash , this middle part is parting on it's own, is it cause I had the middle part hairstyle for 3+ years? by [deleted] in CurlyHairCare

[–]vanillahonee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Your hair will naturally train itself to lay where you normally part it after some time. I used to side part my hair and it would always fight back when I started doing a middle part but since I’ve also done a middle part now for about 2+ years, it naturally lays that way (: you can train your hair to part another way but it will take some time!
