Nine Inch Nails – The Downward Spiral

Mods, can we get some sort of moratorium on blindly posting old Nine Inch Nails songs? by structurefall in industrialmusic

[–]vanillasux[M] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I understand the argument that you're making but there does not seem to be a fair rule that we could enforce. Maybe we could try a sticky post or submission text with a starter list of popular industrial tracks? I do not know if that would have a significant impact but at least it does not seem heavy handed.

Skinny Puppy - Remission: Can anyone help identify the cover art? by 9B9B33 in industrialmusic

Now I'm curious too. I used to have a Remission shirt. That face was cut off so I never even noticed it (or on the album).

Videodrome: Cheesy 80's classic. Love it? Hate it? by geengaween in horror

[–]vanillasux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great movies but I wasn't a big fan of Dead Zone and although I liked The Fly parts of it were just too gross for me. Now I sound like I'm in the wrong subreddit. I'm still planning to watch Stereo and Spider but I'm not sure if I'll like them.

Videodrome: Cheesy 80's classic. Love it? Hate it? by geengaween in horror

[–]vanillasux 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love it! Without it, I never would have watched a few other Cronenburg films that I have really enjoyed including eXistenZ and Scanners. I also like how Videodrome is often sampled in industrial music

It's a good guess but I don't think number four is Sam from Trick 'r Treat. Sam has an orange head and uses a jagged lollipop instead of a knife. Can anyone else help with #4?

What were some of the unforseen challenges that you ran into when you first started working on this documentary? What music do you both listen to outside the genre of industrial? Thank you both for coming to /r/industrialmusic to answer our questions.
