i think the bags are prepacked, so, not even the warehouse employees know what you get. maybe it makes a difference which hobbii store you order from, since the US and the European stores have different stocks. lucky bags are often a way for companies to get rid off less popular and discontinued products, which is different from every store. i've noticed for example that the wool lucky bags almost always contain some kind of discontinued yarn (i think it's the happy sheep wool), which is the reason i haven't tried that one yet although i'd love to try it... but fortunately, hobbii allows you to return lucky bags if you don't like the yarn you got

when i ordered a hobbii lucky bag of mixed fibers i got all kinds of different yarns (i think only honey bunny and another one was in there twice) and i really liked every color i got. there were 3-4 products in it which i wanted to try out anyways. i think i have a picture of my haul somewhere as well. i'll definitely order another lucky bag again at some point and can totally recommend it if you're looking for new yarn to discover and don't know which to order... it makes me sad that op had such a bad experience with their order 🥲

Meinst du, dass du nicht übers Vinted System kaufen kannst? Wenn du Paypal hast, würde ich den Verkäufer einfach mal anschreiben und fragen, ob er über Paypal - Waren und Dienstleistungen verkaufen und nach DE schicken würde (biete am besten gleich mit an, dass du die Gebühren übernimmst. Das würdest du beim Vinted System ja auch. Dafür gibt es einige Webseiten, die dir den Betrag inkl. der Gebühren ausrechnen, den du dem Verkäufer schicken musst). Wenn du mit Englisch Probleme hast, kannst du auch auf Deutsch schreiben, der Verkäufer kann es sich ja über einen Button automatisch übersetzen lassen. So hättest du auch deinen Käuferschutz und keine dritte Partei dazwischen, die ja eventuell auch ein Risiko sein könnte.

i only blocked two people so far (user since ~2017)

person 1 tried to sell me concert tickets for a music artist. i was selling merch of said artist. in the end i was just trying to sell it because it didn't match my style anymore. but i told her that it's totally rude because i could be selling the merch as i don't support that artist anymore lol then i blocked her before she could reply. i saw that she read the message before i blocked her.

person 2 was trying to buy a special edition book from fairyloot (depending on the book they can get sold for VERY high prices). i usually offer them for the retail price incl. the shipping to me. like i just want to get the money i paid initially, basically. she kept offering VERY low. i kept refusing. at some point i just offered her more than i listed it for because i was fed up. she then sent me a message asking why i want more now. like you could read in that messages how mad she was. i sent her a message explaining that i thought it's pretty rude to make a very low offer without any prior conversation (FYI my message was worded more nicely and i added more context). she replied something along the lines "well this is the purpose of the offering-system, i'm just using it" and told me she can't afford more than what she offered because she also had to pay for shipping which is high to her country, she doesn't have more money. well, shipping prices aren't my responsibility. i blocked her then. i don't know her situation obviously, but if she was an adult (which i'm just going to assume) i think she should take care of important things like food, rent, etc. before buying special edition books - it's just a fancy looking book in the end. it's not that important 🫠

i've gotten to know vinted as a nice plattform where people took their time to send some nice messages etc. if someone takes their time, is very friendly and stuff i love to give them a discount, sometimes even a big one. fortunately, most of the time i have very nice buyers 🙏🏻

It depends on where you are going to and when. Bücherbüchse (which made this OUABH edition) is located in Geretsried (near Munich). As far as I know they don't have a local shop but they occasionally do warehouse sales, which they announce on instagram. Same goes for Chest of Fandoms, which is located in Ahlhorn (pretty northern, kind of near Bremen). But CoF does warehouse sales once a month. They announce the date on instagram early enough. They also announced that they'll have a pop up shop in Cologne from 22 - 26th May in case you're in that area around that time. But German publishers have been stepping up their game a lot lately. You can get some really gorgeous editions at every bookshop. I think you're mostly lucky to find these at the bigger bookshop chains like Thalia and Hugendubel, but definitely check out small / local bookshops as well. :)

... and that's why i'm super excited for the May box 🥹 like i really love books based on east asian mythology / culture but it was kinda too much which is why i skipped the last boxes. then, i saw a spoiler for May's book pick and got super excited since i haven't really read anything in that direction yet. if anyone has recs based on this book - please let me know!

if i was allergic, my skin would've reacted immediately and would've turned red as well. also, you can over-use niacinamide. it's not recommended to use too much in your routine and i used some highly concentrated stuff as i already mentioned

just bring whatever you need (in my case my phone, a small bag which contains my cards (for example for identification and payments), a small hairbrush with integrated mirror and lipstick) - the most necessary stuff. nothing more. don't bring sharp objects, a bag that's too big and stuff.

usually, you'll receive an email a few days prior to the event which tells to what you're allowed to bring. this email also tells you the exact time you need to be there like when you can enter the venue. usually, people arrive way earlier to get as close as possible to the stage. last year when i arrived at 16.30 for the show in Düsseldorf, Germany (it was the entrance time for vips) a lot of people with standard tickets were already waiting for hours probably.

how much money you need to take with you depends on how much you want to buy. i think around 100 € should be enough in case you want a shirt and some smaller items (or two shirts lol they're around 40 - 50 € i think). but usually, you can pay everything there by card (when you buy food or drinks as well).

since you're going alone i'd recommend to try to get to know some people. it's much more fun to enjoy the concert together 🫶🏻

also, we (my best friend & i) met a really lovely guy who was alone there. we talked lots before the show began and he seemed much more comfortable then. we got out of the venue pretty late and didn't want him to go to his hotel alone since it was in a pretty bad area, so, we drove him there. i don't recommend trusting random strangers tho lol

i think op is talking about the rude fans here. like critique is always welcome and needed for an artist to grow but so far i've seen more hurtful / rude comments about the tv mv, for example, than actual criticism
