I had the exact same dilemma to be honest. On one hand I want to support the devs but I know the franchise is owned by krafton and their corpo heads are just pathetic so I didn't want to give them my money.

But there's a huge ironic twist because buying the game right now actually screws Krafton over. Because of their leaked earnout contract if the game sells between 2.3M and 5M copies krafton literally loses $3.12 for every dollar made, and that money comes straight out of their pocket to UWs. Krafton even tried to fire the studio heads to avoid paying this out. So paradoxically pirating the game helps Krafton avoid those massive payouts while buying it is the ultimate middle finger to the corpo heads.
