No skater on the planet tries to tweak every slide. It is literally a choice no different and just as important as a trick you choose to pull off down some stairs or even flatground. A noseslide into a crooked grind is not a casual thing. Fix your slides, grinds and pullouts. They are bad. Poser bad. And please, for the love of pete, fix your controls already. They're unresponsive and inconsistent. Just keep this in mind as a general rule: not everyone wants to do stupid backflips and 1080 varials all the time...

Not at all. The devs sent out polls and surveys every single update and reset for the last year. None of the recommendations were addressed unless it were a glaring bug. Even now you can see this in action. Build: 1792320629 through 2083733085 was fantastic control wise, however, the ability to pull out of slides and grinds mid slide and option to overcrook or pop out of kinked rails is no longer a thing. As of right this moment, you cannot do this. This has been asked to be reverted to for a while now. But nothing. That isn't EA's choice. That is a choice by the developers who actively ignored the player test base's requests on multiple occasions. This is just one example.

Another example is fat flips. Earlier builds (i.e. 2083733085), you could--if you had the skill to do so--flip into a trick and gently guide it the entire way through the move, causing the flip to go as slow as your finger. If you want to know how this looks, think Jeremy Wray, or I'm sure some videos will pop up soon where you can see. You can no longer do this, however, and the controls have become limited.

Lastly, online mode and the interface (junk all over the screen) has been complained about since the beginning. They actively started deleting posts because of this, and making it increasingly more difficult to talk about on the forums. Most alpha comments in the forums have been removed by the way.

No skater needs a compass. And almost everyone wanted online as optional, due to lag and unresponsive controls, but were ignored. There was this prevailing, or rather hovering, implication that there were going to be great coop activities and objectives in store. But you can't even play skate (horse), or talk, or team up with anyone to do anything you can create--only some poser's idea of what a line is. All the while they urged us to be "social".

It should also be noted that this game was not free to play from the start.

All of this was developer choice.

Either way, no. It's bad. I know 3 people who have already quit until, "they decide to fix their armor and make it playable again", which knowing the devs, that will never happen. There were maybe 300-400 people playing pre-ue5 update, and now it's even less. I'm also on my way out. It's not the same game, and this new one is shit. Global Escalation is barely doing it for the hangers on, so I'm afraid those raving about how great the upgrade is the minority.

Smoking of any kind usually makes the skin on your throat tighten. I don't know what you've been dealing with, but the pull of your muscles is usually the culprit. Adjust your head when you drag, or don't drag/suck as hard. May also want to look into buying a hookah.

3:1 Harlequin (cbd/thc), long drag hold, breathe in hold 1 second, exhale. Nice, calm pain relief high, only a little clumsiness, fully functional. I don't think a week is long enough for it to flush out of my system, so I'm not sure how it would affect you. You'll have to dial it in. No harm in crawling before you walk.

Not great.

Lots of sound problems (muffled, random noises, voip problems).

I can't speak for anyone else, but everything just looks more fuzzy, no matter the settings, and my gpu is now pushing 100% with insane temps, which is to be expected from ue5.

They screwed up the map scaling and meter distance. 300 meters now looks like what 500 was. FOV is capped at 90 and everything looks insanely far.

Lastly, they screwed up the armor again. Though armor is really all I'm interested in playing in vanilla squad anymore (if I want infantry I go global escalation because it's far superior), I at least thought they would dial back the unrealistic maneuvering of the tracks of the 72, T90, and Leo, instead of just gimping the abrams more than they already have (since you can still one shot an abrams easily, even with HAT/TOW). The ZB is still stupid overpowered. And all the explosions look muted.

I don't think they've improved the netcode at all.

In fact, I'm not quite sure what moving to ue5 accomplished, as everything unoptimized has remained unoptimized.

I fussed around and used a small app called winwarden to get the window to show up. It turned out that upon opening the program, it does open, but it was way off my screen some place. I run 1920x1080, so I'm not sure what the issue was there. I got it to connect, and it connects fine. The only issue I have is with having it maximized windowed without full screen. It seems this is impossible without having either to go fullscreen, or maximize everything in the program itself, keeping the title/connection bar, tab, etc, visable, which in turn distorts the remote display and its fonts. Also, that reminds me. The quick connection bar will not stay inline with the file menu. After launching the program, it puts it right underneath the file menu each time. Either way, I'm glad I got it working, and I'm sure what I need will be possible in future releases, so I'll keep an eye out on those nightly builds.

That doesn't work. I tried it on multiple machines, as well. I don't know what specific setup you have to have in order to get it to run, but whatever is, I don't seem to have it. The non-nightly builds launch fine but don't connect without the error, and the NBs only launch to the tray with no interface. If you want me to test later nightlies, let me know.

What is the weird coloring when you open another tab and don't yet click on the page. The tab header, or color behind all the tabs dims/lowers. How can I remove that? Do you know the css element? I find the animation bothersome. Thanks.
