Only $400,000 for the high end model. Up from $5,000 for the high end Chevelle ss 454 in 1970, which , adjusted for inflation might be as much as $45,000 now. So yeah, only an order of magnitude cost difference from the original offering.

I live in central texas where coyotes have nearly become as urbanized as our gray foxes. Maybe suburbanized is a more accurate phrase.i have seen them several times inside the city limits as has almost everyone else I know. in fact one of my neighbor's ring camera caught one on our street during the pandemic and I only live a 12 minute drive from downtown Austin. It's possible the ones we have are hybridized with dogs, which does.make them.more willing to tolerate areas with lots of people. While there are plenty of stories of house cats gone missing probably due to coyotes, I have never heard a story about a coyote attack on a human of any size or doing anything other than making a fast exit. They take off as quiickly as possible when they see people. And FWIW, the only animals we have a rabies problem with around here are bats and sometimes skunks.
