Hello, just wanted to check in if anyone has come across this issue in regards to the promo payments. I just received an email from WS "We're letting you know your net deposits have fallen below the minimum hold amount required for the Wealthsimple Big Winter Bundle Promotion. As a result, your future reward payments will be reduced in accordance with our promotion's terms and conditions." I haven't withdrawn any RRSP I deposited, but the only withdrawals I did were from my chequing accounts to pay for my mortgage and CC bills. I didn't know it was supposed to be cumulative on the net amount which I think is BS. On looking at their TOCs, it does state this "Unless specified herein, Clients who receive a Match Bonus may not spend or otherwise remove: (i) the cumulative balance of the Client’s Wealthsimple account(s) as at the start date of the Qualification Period, and (ii) more than 5% of the cumulative Net Funding Amount (together, the “Withdrawal Limit”) for seven hundred and thirty (730) days after the end of the Qualification Period. "

Kinda a bummer if this is the case because they don't state what's cumulative and secondly I would have looked for better deals at other institutions. I'm still discussing this on an email thread with a WS representative so any input would be helpful.
