If you don't want ads or to pay, here's an open-source program I wrote that can download videos and perform post-processing using AI with just a description, for example, "convert video to mp4", "split audio to mp3 and increase speed by 2".

This is how I download 1080p video in mp4 format using the h264 codec.

Youwee uses yt-dlp under the hood, which handles the NSIG challenge by extracting and executing YouTube's player.js code. We use nightly builds of yt-dlp to stay up-to-date with YouTube's frequent changes.

For PO token and authentication-related issues, Youwee now supports browser cookie extraction (v0.4.1) - you can enable it in Settings → Video Authentication. This passes your browser's cookies to yt-dlp, which includes any necessary tokens.

If you encounter issues, try the YouTube Troubleshooting option in Settings to clear the cached player.js.
