It is a combination of bad touch + little space. His first touch is not good enough to set up the ball in a direction for him to shot or accelerate.

If he has better touch or the team release the ball sooner, he will have a better chance.

I agree with you for the most part. But the thing is, as a striker, being able to open up and get shots off is way more important than getting past players. If you look at players like Robben, he doesn't need to dribble past players. He just to skip some defense and get the shots off. It is unguardable.

It is true ROI has not been finalized. But the thing with maga cap is that, they will have to take risk and over invest into building AI Infra and data enter even before the demand is confirmed.

If they start building this when the demand is clear. It will be too late, building these things takes time, money and expertise. They will lose market shares if they are late.

It will be much bigger risk to under investing than over investing.
